went to PhoneWorx today to collect my phone only to see tool marks all over the bottom and some on the side of the casing

This is the second case with phoneworx. My phone was like that also but not that bad. I made a report and complaint to Brightstar and later to Motorola Singapore. Because brightstar and phoneworx is being a b!tch. Complain punya complain, they replaced me with a new Defy.
Phoneworx. This is not the first time! I lost my faith with Motorola in malaysia after my ordeal with phoneworx. So no more motorola for me. At least until they provide better service. If you want, you can PM me, i can send you the person who handle my case in Brightstar. You can go bug them. |

Phoneworx technicians are really idiots. Really tak boleh pakai one. Email brightstar and see what they have to say. Have to report it la. In this thread it self also got 2 people with these kind of problems already. I wonder how is it with other defy owners.

Hey guys I bought Defy Plus for my dad and trying to help him transfer his contacts.
is there a way to delete all the contacts in the Defy Plus listing? The transfer canceled halfway, I dun want later when I transfer again I'll get multiple contacts =A=; |

She claimed that they changed the screen only and did not touch the firmware but for some unknown reason the phone cannot boot after that and they were forced to flash it So in the end, now i got a phone with screen and top bezel replaced, a brand new Froyo firmware flashed to it, RM280 poorer and hours will be lost flashing it again and my messages which accounts to around 6000+ are all gone forever |

I'm surprised that they did not insist that you backup the data first. Usually these service centres will not take your phone if there's data inside because they will not want to be blamed for data leaks and data theft. |
