1. install appropriate driver
32bit http://developer.motorola.com/docstools/US...set_USB_Driver/
64bit http://developer.motorola.com/docstools/US..._USB_Driver_64/
2. install RSD Lite http://www.mediafire.com/?ufxs9lft9q2xwnu
3. open RSD Lite: click on […] button and select your .SBF
4. boot your phone into bootloader mode by holding vol up while booting
5. connect your defy to your pc
6. click start on RSD Lite and wait until it finished.

Thanks bro, before that problem came when i flash cmiui 1.11.11 then reboot, hang on moto logo.
restart, then got blue light but no green light. can go to android bootmenu 1.0.6 then when press recovery it says Error in/system/bootmenu/script/recovery.sh(result: no such file or directory)

should I flash by to froyo official or still can save go back to cmiui by pushing some adb file??

CMIUI 2.4 so weird la...

1- after done flash, it auto reboot but stuck with blank screen after moto logo... need to pull out battery and restart... *i never pull out battery since after day 2 i own this defy

2- after restore data and apps using CMIUI backup, it shows all done but no icon appear at homescreen/folder.... in application management all apps is there but how to run? even CMIUI backup icon also dissapear!

help i also this problem!!.. mine reboot only blue light no green light..now thinking flash to froyo offical..when enter bootmenu, batt low..how to charge it? i plug in charger it auto bnoot to moto logo and hang there..

i think u still can charge it using USB or adapter!

blue light volume down can go custom boot menu..but select recovery it says file missing.
before u wait how long after flashing cmiui 2.4 in moto logo?

anyone else using the DEFY+ ? can we flash it using all the Defy MB525 roms/flashes?

after moto logo my screen turn blank and not respond to any touch or power button... waited for almost 10 minutes then i pull out battery and reboot.. it reboot like normal and working good but CMIUI backup acting weird!

restore all done but apps icon missing even CMIUI backup icon also missing.... so how to restore? i think i miss some steps so i flash again...> output same....

after 3x, i flash back to 2.3a...

so i decide to skip 2.4!

about stock rom... i dont know.... u try ask abang salim la...

I also waiting for review on this phone

just flash back my defy to stock sea.
need to send back RMA.
LCD kena sopak again.. and now wont disappear..

i never use adapter to recharge my defy.... everytime only use usb!

but it take long time to full... normally if battery less then 30% it take 3+hrs!

Anw, just wondering, i turn on my phone in bootloader but it wrote code corrupt battery low, cannot program, izit normal?
My battery died halfway while flashing the sbf so any chance this mess up the code or whatever that make that msg to appear?
