RM1080 with free car charger n car holder. phone looks exactly the same as the old Defy but has longer lasting battery life! only thing i don't like is that mine has MOTOBLUR which i heard lags the phone right? i wonder if i can root itMalaysia set? can give some review, picture shoot by its camera also any noticeable diff than defy |

Okay here's my short review. The phone is great, a total upgrade from the previous Defy. My battery can last 2 whole days on 2G mode with wifi on all the time, watching Youtube for about 1 hour in between, calls for about 20 minutes in between and text messaging throughout 2 days. Music quality on loudspeaker is quite good. Even better with 3D stereo enabled when using earphones. Size is perfect for a smartphone (I wanted to get the new Droid RAZR but I chose this instead because of the RAZR's size) There's now a "Manage Apps" selection to kill unwanted running apps. Everything else is pretty much the same as the Defy except for the 1ghz and battery life. Even comes with Adobe Flash 10. Best thing about it i'd say is the battery life. I even tested its water resistance with running tap water and still works normally lol. If you're a Defy user, everything is the total same lah. HQ Youtube videos streams and plays like a charm. Dunno what else to say d. But if i can root it and get rid of the MOTOBLUR, it'd be even better n smoother, because I notice some performance slowdowns which i think is because of the MOTOBLUR. Overall it's a great looking phone, perfect sized, and can do almost anything other smartphones can.

Here's what I read on XDA forum:

I don't really understand what that means. Btw, I heard Defy+ will be getting Ice Cream Sandwich next year! |

QUOTE(bushyboy105 @ Feb 16 2012, 04:06 PM) what i heard ppl saying that defy+ not worth to buy leh... new gen phone coming out soon. Yeah. It's better to buy a Defy than a Defy+ if you know how to root and install customs roms, otherwise you don't need to get the Defy+.and defy+ making noob spec... haih... btw i am a proud owner of defy... Defy+ owner here |
