Tiamat 1.1.2 with MIUI 1.9.2. Battery drain is normal. Can underclock to 192MHz and OC to 2GHz if you dare.

Yea i don't OC myself. Just underclock and undervolt a bit. But doesn't seem to give much effect.
MIUI is pretty and has useful built in apps. No app drawer so you have to put them in folders. I like CM7 for the CM settings. MIUI don't have that. Just try both. See what you like and maybe stick with it. Added on September 8, 2011, 2:26 pmBTW where's TS? This post has been edited by Joseph Hahn: Sep 8 2011, 02:26 PM |

Added on September 8, 2011, 2:26 pmBTW where's TS? btw, if u want to get a new sdcard, get the one with higher class... better read and write speed. p.s. I'm using virtuous unity ROM now, and it's fast and awesome, just some tiny bugs haven't fix yet. Might wanna try MIUI ROM someday too, but it's too iphone like to me.. and it';s not completely stable yet. Welcome New Desire S user!!!, we need more people here to make this active, I see too few Desire S users in here... It's a great phone, should recommended to anyone out there! |

MIUI quite nice. Have some unique apps built in and everything is coated nicely with their unique style and sorting. And you can still use widgets unlike iOS.
QUOTE(jenwww @ Sep 10 2011, 03:06 PM) the speed of copying thing will be faster LOL . Should be la... minimum 10mb/s compared to 4. Gonna pick it up in a bit. |

Hm SD Tools seems a bit dodgy and the file size is too small to test.
So i tried SD Card Tester. Seems more consistent and i can choose the file size to test. Compared to the stock Sandisk 8GB Class 4, the Patriot 16GB Class 10 writes almost twice as fast. Read is only slightly faster. |

To hard reset your phone, you need to press "Volume up" + "Volume down" + "power button".To boot up your device to hboot, you press "Volume down" + "power button" while you phone is shutted down. (You need to untick fastboot in settings and then shut down your phone) So, don't get confused... hope this helps. |
