QUOTE(SuggieBliss @ Nov 12 2011, 12:03 AM) I have a question. lowering resolution? How do we have our recorded videos in a smaller file size? Cuz its just way too big for a 1 min video. I tried to email a 1.5 min video and its way too big, like 42MB. I tried some compression softwares but its still not doing it. I use to use my sony cybershot phone , took like 10 min videos and i could still email the video. But this HTC file size is just not cool! Help anyone? |

QUOTE(SuggieBliss @ Nov 13 2011, 04:10 PM) Hi, i tried resolutions high (640 × 480) and low (320 × 240) the file size is still very big for a really short video. What resolutions do you use? as i use cyanogenmod rom right now, i cant help you. sorry. And is it possible to save videos as MP4 instead of the default 3GP? |

QUOTE(SuggieBliss @ Nov 14 2011, 12:39 AM) OIC, ive never done anything to my phone. If i used cyanogenmod, would it help with the video file size? what are the con's for cyanogenmod? Hope u dont mind me asking... er i try to record some video. all 10 second video.high setting: 8mb medium setting: 4mb low setting: 800kb (quality too worst) the con's of cyanogenmod rom is it is not as eye candy as sense rom. it's look like pure android like in nexus phone. also use low resource though hence battery can last longer. |

QUOTE(SuggieBliss @ Nov 14 2011, 08:29 PM) Tqvm for your input:) well, if you don't know or scared better leave it as it is.Im still trying to figure out whether i should rom mine or not, im scared it fcuk up my phone cuz i have no idea how to do all thats needed lol. I did dload a compression software called "Handbreak" and it does compress it to a good size, but it is kinda time consuming to move it to my laptop, compress etc.. anyhow.. better than nothing Thanks again!!! it's not that dangerous actually, but it still can brick your phone by a little chance. i use handbrake also to compress my anime. |

QUOTE(squarepilot @ Dec 7 2011, 01:06 AM) if you need a physical qwerty keypad, i suggest you xperia pro or desire Z. but those with keypad are much heavier well, there are custom rom port from sensation xl to DS and it work smoothly. no lag so whatever.actually there's an alternative for desire S, which is galaxy W. but since you mention video call is a must, then desire S may not fit you cause HTC do not supprt native 3G calls yet, take galaxy Added on December 7, 2011, 1:08 am man. sense 3.5 on 1ghz processor is a big i tried that on rhyme during the recent pc fair... laggy even there is not much apps installed btw in the htc rhyme, that's just lite version of sense 3.5. i prefer aosp rom though. |
