nope, u can only use applications to make video calls... like if ure using tango... the other party needs to use tango also..

That can S-Off hboot .00 and .02. Dunno what it can recover but there's already a way to return to S-On.

i have one sms problem whereby sometimes i only receive sms-es sent to me after a few minutes. the most severe one happened just now, it only reached me after 40 minutes -___-

i noticed this started to happen after the Desire S system update :S

Mine have some problem,...will auto reboot after received call or sometimes during received call. This happen randomly. Still cannot find source of the problem yet.

Still like the phone despite some reboot issue

you guys got hard reset after update?? . after i update i hard reset my phone . i have no problem so far

i dun have this htc desire S cos out of budget! lowyat front page got mentioned desire got sms issue.. what kinda issue can some1 elaborate? desire s really a lot issue leh..

my problem is cant use gps without help by aGPS . then . also battery cover problem and lastly . the unibody problem . that all .

^I think we have to pay for a GPS, the one already on the phone is a trail version.. (mine is) the guy selling phones told me if i wanted a good gps gotta pay RM30 to install... i forgot the name of the gps though.

At Lowyat FP is for older HTC Desire that going for Gingerbread update... Not HTC Desire S...

I don't think the delay-sms-thing is related to Desire S... Most likely it came from the network... Try contacting your telco provider...

After the update gps doesnt seem to work.. I left gps on for 30min but never locked to any satelites. I use gps test to see if there is any satelite but no satelite in list.. weird.. on my SGS2 can see satelites in gps test..

today is a very sad day for me, my Desire S died on me...
i can't turn on the phone at all sad.gif
i took out the battery, put it in again and tried, cannot
i took out the SD card, tried to turn it on, also cannot
i took out the sim card, tried to turn it on, also cannot
don't know what to do already...

went to maxis center, told me i need to send it to the service center. service center also closed after 12.30 on saturdays...

have to wait til monday to send...
so sad... sad.gif

I am planning to get a HTC Desire S. I would like to know, a few things.

1. Can I make a backup of my phone without rooting it? Backup as like in Windows doing an image type of backup? Which program do I need to install?
2. If I do a hard reset, will it come back to the day I bought my phone back from the shop? (I am not planning to root my phone)
