City drive is like that, type of petrol and minor mod can improve the FC like air filter and spark plug. Try not rev over 3k... tongue.gif

U driving H-line rite? brows.gif U wan my pasu bunga rims? I'll happily trade it with u.. XD

Yea it's a blue R32 not 33. Still looks nice. I'm saying that silver R33 looks very good. There's one completely stock R33 in silver running around KL, look damn good & the owner took very good care of the paint, it's almost showroom condition. That day saw it parked in front of Aloha.

I think the NCT5 must be one of the worst when it comes to NVH. Really very bad. U scared cost high then go for Falken lo.. Potenza can last probably around 25-30k KMs (quite short due to it's soft rubber compound), but the cornering grip is really very good. Turanza never tried before (I go for high performance tyres)..

Yokohama tyre wear out fast? Applicable to Advan series, but not the A/C/S-Drive series.. To give u a better idea, most, if not all Lotus cars are using Yokohama Advan tyres for grip & sharp cornering.. So u can be fairly certain that S-Drive (the closest to Advan) can give u more than enough grip for everyday driving & bantai-cornering.. brows.gif

Change rim first lah.. Changing rim gives u good grip since u already on H-line with 4 disc brakes.. Brake pads can wait.. brows.gif

Michelin PS3 is good. Quite silent for a performance tyre and excellent wet traction performance. Dry traction also good, all improvement over its predecessor, PP2. Only pricing cost quite a bit as usual for Michelin..

How much ur 16" S-drive cost ady?
I think we cant bring in the 6.0 diesel cos due to fuel quality lah.. Its strictly Euro4+.. If u run Euro4 and below the piston rings and ignition coil needs to be changed frequently.

hi, guys.

i got some question to ask. izzit normal that the petrol symbol light up before the needle touch the E? after i saw the light, i straight go pump petrol and pump till full tank.. rm64 sudah full tank..  sweat.gif
*
Yeah.. it will light up when its around 1/4 of the last gap is balance.. and when the needle is below E then only it will start to blink.. When it blinks it has around 10L of petrol left.

*
Ur fc calculated out from RM64 of petrol is 11L/100km.. Its quite normal if its 100% city drive and u get stucked in jam almost 1hour..

Reporting some fc for my PE

for RM50 = 26.3158L (RON95)
1st: Shell - 330km (7.97L/100km)
2nd: Esso - 293km (8.98L/100km)
3rd: Shell - 310km (8.48L/100km)

hvnt try petronas and caltex yet...
pump rm50 of petrol when needle touches the EMPTY line. anyway to improve fc? install LCP n hotbits 4-2-1... hmm.gif
*
Your FC can touch 8.xxL/100km consider good already, my car after 8k km only can sometime hit 9L/100km, but as i can notice it will slowly improve, as now i am more than 10k km and reacently use Castro Edge fully sync. engine oil it has been 8.3L/100km with using esso ron 95.

no idea...but for d time i pump esso...i got more traffic jam + using stock air filter...
bcz i take my car for servicing...
but for both of the time i use shell...both are with works air filter

QUOTE(xandras @ Jul 14 2011, 12:36 PM)
Well it could be a case of mis-judging how much petrol is left in the tank as well, given that he pumps his car only when the needle touches E line. So he could've used 1 or 2 more litres for Shell before he calculate the distance. But then, his case might also be one of the rare PE campro owners here that get better mileage with Shell than the rest of us.

Denion, u sure they didn't install prototype Campro engine that's developed hand in hand with Shell? blink.gif
*
i tink my calculation is not vry accurate but is still roughly there la...
tats y i ask u after blinking still got how many left...i can estimate before pump petrol...
but it is quite average la actually for d calculation i've done...not to say it is 100% accurate...

QUOTE(xandras @ Jul 14 2011, 12:51 PM)
Well it's not a good practice to drive till no petrol.. First is because u face the risk of engine dying off in the middle of nowhere.. Second, yeah, fuel pump..
*
if blinking blinking ok rite?then only go pump petrol...of cz not till until it died off la...vry scary experience leh...

btw today stuck in jam for around 2.5 hours along mrr2 heading towards sg buloh...
lets c wads d fc...lol...tmr morning go pump petrol...now blink blink there liao
