id like to congrats all new sgs2 users for making the "sort-of" right decision.

guys, is worth it to get the SGP oleophobic screen protector (worth rm40) compared to Nillkin screen protector (worth rm20)? both are clear type but i mean the quality is there really difference?

I have had this SGP oleophobic for about 1-half month now.
At first, the oleophobic coating gave the screen protector a nice feel and there were no fingerprints.
However, after a week, the oleophobic coating was gradually wiping away. You could feel the protector getting smoother like glass. Now its a fingerprint magnet. Right now it is a swirl of prints.

to fix the auto reboot problem... trying to use a very stupid method introduced by another forumer.... place a 1 thin slice of paper below the battery =_= see if it works =_=

gonna try this before i flash to stock kernel

even on idle it drain like vampire..
lets say 8 hours idle you get 5% drain on 2.3.3 (custom rom)..on 2.3.4 (custom rom) you get 15% drain...

my batt lasts longer with 2.3.4 lol

wow, thanx for d review. seems like after using awhile it will turn to Ultra Crystal instead of Oleophobic character. But still (comparing the price of Crystal SGP still around double the Nillkin), does the SP quality worth the price? hehe, sorry for keep asking

few noob question (YES, i have read the first page, but still.. ) :

i want to remove the yellow triangle warning sign. tried to follow >> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1103399, but it said "extract the CF-root file until u get the zimage file": I COULDN'T GET IT. after extracted, i just got only 1 file CF-Root-SGS2_XW_OJV_KF1-v4.0-CWM4.tar. where is the zimage? need to re-extract the .tar file? but using what software? apparently my PC cant extract .tar file. needed to push the zimage file into SD card....

and, in order to remove the yellow triangle also, will need to flash stock kernel. so i downloaded : I9100XWKF1_OLBKE5_DXKF1 zip file, then extracted it, i got 4 different files. i recognized them as KERNEL, CODE, MODEM and the other file i dun really knw what its stands for >> GT-I9100-MULTI-CSC-OLBKE5.tar.md5. as mentioned in the guide, using ODIN, flash the stock samsung kernel. does this mean, in ODIN, i have to check on PDA then select the file with the KERNEL name only, then start flash??

last but maybe not least , about nand backup. im not really clear about the term. please correct me if im wrong, to perform a nand backup, go to CWM> backup.. just that? the backup file, where can i find it? should it be saved somewhere else?

Darky drains batt like crazy ..... Try matching it with JamesBond Kernel ..... got a better life with it

To not spend on these high priced stuff, I bought three clear SPs from a seller for 18RM plus poslaju and can now replace them over a year if I feel that its time to change. Just my cheap 2 cents. Just have to wipe the screen every other hour or after each call or web session.

use CWM do to a backup

the only problem i faced so far is the battery indicator doesn't show the actual percentage like lite'ning rom
i use cwm to do backup before wipe it, and after flash to villain wat i c is most of my apps are restored automatically. only afew need to redownload again from market there, but not a problem since i can access to them in my apps there.
one more thing, my zenonia 3 data all gone start again at lvl 1

honestly imo, no. But that only my opinion. Should really go to shop and compare for yourself.
