Thanks Bros - to me 2.3.4 does not seem to be a gamechanger - and unless it has some special features like doubling the battery life (fat hope!!), then will migrate, otherwise 1.4 VR is good enough for me.
Major investmentI made for extending batt life was a Nokia microusb cable which was thrown away by a retail shop attendant and rescued it to be used with my old USB car charger which had 1A charging capacity. When at home or office, am on charge most of the time with laptop. |

QUOTE(ellebasi @ Jul 11 2011, 02:28 PM) I have had this SGP oleophobic for about 1-half month now. To not spend on these high priced stuff, I bought three clear SPs from a seller for 18RM plus poslaju and can now replace them over a year if I feel that its time to change. Just my cheap 2 cents. Just have to wipe the screen every other hour or after each call or web session. At first, the oleophobic coating gave the screen protector a nice feel and there were no fingerprints. However, after a week, the oleophobic coating was gradually wiping away. You could feel the protector getting smoother like glass. Now its a fingerprint magnet. Right now it is a swirl of prints. |

In the KG1 zip file I see 4 different files, so I have to individually flash the tar first, then the modem tar right. do i need to flash the CSC tar as well? Sorry Benny - in adrenaline rush forgot to read rest of the message in the spoiler This post has been edited by KLHC1964: Jul 12 2011, 10:28 AM |

QUOTE(destEX @ Jul 13 2011, 04:48 PM) paste it in sdcard, means internal memory, paste the Navisea folder in the place where there's bluetooth/media/downloads folder, or in My Files, paste where it opens assuming you did not mess with the settings, it should be at /sdcard so paste there. nope thats not how i installed my navisea - you have to paste over the navisea.zip over to the sdcard in S2 then long press the zip file and extract into same folder - if you unzip and paste over it wont work - |

QUOTE(Lazyboy @ Jul 18 2011, 01:19 PM) I have had great results with Juice Defender The reason why JD is working is becos all radios are off when the screen is off - and only reconnect when the screen is reactivated - I uninstalled it because I need my mails to come through when they do, not when I switched on the screen |
