Yeah the tinting will not cover the black dots area. Even mine on V-kool doesn't cover those areas as those are the parts which are meant to heat up the windscreen hence the reason why it will cause the tint to come out.

No, engine knocking is when you hear a knocking sound when you start your car in the morning and when the car is idle. Nothing to do with acceleration. All of us I know at the Volkswagen Club all fill with Ron95, Roc 1.4, 2.0, Golf 1.4, Golf GTI, MkV and MKVI alike and other VWs.

No major effects at all. Only effect is when you go for 18" Detroits.

It can fit 5 people in total for short trips but yeah, legally it can only fit up to 4. My bad there, will make the changes

Just out of curiousity, does the Polo come with the entire MDI set or you need to purchase it outside separately? Because I know the older batches of the GTI don't have that as well and it was available only for the Golf light and sound package.

If you really want the dealers can sell that to you but at a higher price.

Otherwise go find it on Ebay.co.uk and you can find a few companies based in Hong Kong who actually sell them for about 10 pounds. I bought my iPod MDI cable from there. 100% works, reliable and way cheaper than the RM270 I was quoted from the dealer.

Eh the AUX in is not on the RCD310, for the Golf the AUX input is at the arm rest and so is the MDI unit. And the MDI unit is not cheap.
