is it a CW rocco with rieger , big spoiler and black R rims with super black tint..?
*
No idea bro, only saw the graph and number plates. Not the car.

QUOTE(r3kahsttub @ Oct 5 2011, 02:39 PM)
19xhp and above from a 1.4 is certainly very impressive. I really do wonder how they drive... would be quite fun machines, I'd imagine. Somewhat frugal, too..?
*
high torque at the lower rev ranges so it gives you quite the surge. Fuel consumption wise, its no Prius la hahaha

Still, I can't imagine that it will be bad. Especially not, after having to struggle with my FD's horrendous FC!

QUOTE(kuekwee @ Oct 5 2011, 04:02 PM)
SA said 1.4 tai FC is very good
*
Well frankly, I get around 550km for a 55litre tank on average for mixed city and highway driving. Most of the time stuck in traffic especially on the LDP.

QUOTE(fr0sti3 @ Oct 6 2011, 09:19 PM)
anyone changed to coil car mats for their VW?
i'm thinking about gettin it for my polo, wondering what's the diff with yuma oso
*
I changed my coil mats very early when I got my VW. No brand wan, was at a shop then the taukeh ask if I wanted the coil mats so I changed it straight away at the time. Didn't even compare pricing so I wasn't sure that I got ripped off or not. Paid RM160 for 4 mats for the Golf.

QUOTE(afnan @ Oct 6 2011, 09:52 PM)
ARE U SERIUS 110K?
*
Not confirmed, until official pricing is released, everything here is pure either insider info, rumours or just hearsay.

what RM160k-RM180k cars u guys think that can take into consideration or compete with Golf tsi or Scirocco in terms of power, comfort n interior design? including 2 to 3 years second hand cars. Audi A1? 2nd Golf gti? 2nd Audi TT? 2nd Mini? What do u think?  brows.gif
*
If you can stretch a bit more, go for the Mazda 3 MPS. 250hp, will give the GTI and the Roc a very good run for their money.

I am still thinking how to convince him to get me a VW smile.gif
*
Bring him to view Yan's car, and let him go for a test drive. Ask him to tekan the pedal as well as feel how good the drive is and then he will be convinced.

ETA depends on where you are and which dealer you go to. Also depends on what colour choice you want as well.

Auto dilemma should you guys recommend a Rocco 1.4 or a 2nd hand gti or the new passat? I like the Rocco but I hardly see any 1.4 on the road mostly are 2.0 le but that's kinda way out of my budget
*
Go for the 2nd hand GTI. Once you get a taste of the 1.4, you will be craving for the 2.0 drool.gif drool.gif

True but I get some opinion that better get a sports car with that price rather than a second hand gti for that matter so I'm kinda clueless now
*
If you get a 2nd hand Mk6 GTI, the car is still less than a year. But if you are just into looks and not into performance then go for the Scirocco.

Yes but the design is far inferior compared to the Passat CC. Plus im wondering how a 1.8L TSI engine can only have an output of 158HP while the Peugeot 508 1.6L turbo has an output of 156HP.
*
It's an old engine design. Not the latest ones anyway. Might as well ask why does the 1.4TSI produce around 160-184ps as well.

Guys,

Just send my Golf TSI for 45000KM service at VW Jalan Ipoh, KL. Apparently there was a software upgrade for both the engine and the gearbox. I sneaked into the service bay to see my car and had a chat with the service technician. Then he showed me one email from his supervisor about the upgrade and at that time, he was burning the file into a CD. Then he proceeded to upload the new files into my car via the diagnostic tool. Now, no more jerking in 2nd gear!!! Whatever it was, it's good to have the latest software, much like our "talipon pintar".
*
Thanks for sharing, also just to note, for those of you who have their cars remapped, this new software will wipe out the map brows.gif

guys i need some advice

im thinking of getting the polo sport but i hate hate hate the cushion seat. feels so damn rough and im thinking of changing it to leather seats including the fabric panelling on the door to leather. The problem is im afraid that if the door panel is not installed back properly ill hear noises.

Has anyone here had their car seats and door panel changed to leather??? or has anyone had their cushion changed to leather and kept the original fabric panel on the door?? Does leather seat combination plus fabric door panelling look ugly? or is that still nice to look at?

i really need some advice !thanks s
*
As long as you bring it to be done at a reputable shop who already have experience with a Polo, it shouldn't be an issue.
