i hav another hdd.. still the same, stuck..

i disabled the core unlocking..

btw, i juz dloaded a new win7 tiny frm internet.. successfully entered windows but it is a diff version wit the usual one.. alot features are missing since it is a tiny version.. cant run prime 95, it says fft lenght not available  rclxub.gif
*
I think win7 tiny is the light version of windows, got a lot of things been deleted.. laugh.gif
BTW have u tried clearing ur cmos 1st? Whats ur CHIV Formula bios version? If its start with 3xxx then ur using the wrong version of bios, coz its the beta bios made to enable FX cpu usage on the mobo, its not meant for normal phenom cpu's IIANM.. hmm.gif

Canvcore be further reduced? It' s kinda high to my liking but nevertheless, congratz of havin it unlocked n stable. Bump a notch or 2 nb muliplier... below stock not gonna help even with high cpu clock. nod.gif

[WTA] I'm a newbie in OC-ing. Just for fun i tried oc-ing few days ago and cranked it up to 4.1 GHz. Then i restarted and it got till windows loading screen but then just froze up! I tried restarting the pc and it didnt start! But after like 1 day++ i tried turning it on again and it turned on perfectly but the settings went to the default. Is it my ram or the stock cooling is the culprit? My specs are below.

Specs:

M\B: Asus Crosshair V Formula.
Proc: AMD Phenom II X6 1090T.
RAM: Kingston 2x2gb 1333MHz.
GPU: XFX 6950 2gb.
Proc cooling: Stock AMD cooler.

After installing I quickly fired up and started to increase the memory speed to see where is the wall regarding my processor capabilities and found out that when I reach <1900mhz upon reboot it will be detected as 8GB, but as soon as >1900, only 1 dimm (4GB) is detected....change back so that the ram runs <1900, voila....dual channel 8GB...

Bios 0901, both dimms at slots 2 and 4, voltage for ram is 1.65v , CPU-NB 1.5v (nowadays 1.5v is red shocking.gif ) CPU Vcore is 1.425v
