QUOTE(cloudwan @ Nov 29 2012, 10:40 PM) Fwahhhhhh naise result there bro.. hehehe Btw is that normal the NB speed only 1500mhz? Not the same as P2 at 2k eh? hmmm mighty tempting this trinity.. meh... almost took my blood pressure to new height during d whole process... long way to go to achieve what others did... i left everything on stock cept d voltages & ram timing & divider. gotta need more time to max out d nb freq, cpu clock & hopefully d ram freq... i suspect it's r2.0 boards BIOS, coincidentally 3 users including (bro cyberloner, myself & a vrzone user) having same issue. i've reported this issue to ASUS, fingers crossed. i sincerely hope this is just bios issue coz all reviews & some local users are reportin how cool Vishera is. i applied d hand job (that d one ur thinkin!!! ) @ load (63'c) my tpc was nowhere near warm. QUOTE(Naraw @ Dec 15 2012, 06:04 AM) Guys.. i need your opinion. Im using phenom II x6 1090t on crosshair v formula with corsair vengeance 1600mhz. I did minor overclocking to my processor and ran prime95 for 5 mins. During the setting up/initializing of prime95, my worker #6 did not run, fatal error is shown and it was stated that hardware failure detected. Does this mean i have a damaged processor? This happened twice. a peekture tells a thousand words. pls post a screeny with 4 cpu-z tab (cpu clock, ram freq, timing table & mobo info) as well as turbo-v with voltage & temp monitoring.

QUOTE(linkinpark @ Dec 23 2012, 04:56 PM) OC my 8350 to 4.78Ghz ..... really super hot. My TRUE also can't tame the hot temp. considerin d cooler + d clock @ 8 cores, i'd say that's a decent temp ledi. with h100 & silver arrow sb-e (both perform d same), am getting 59'c on stock clock with close to 1.3v. imagine am running your oc'ed setup... boiling point it'll reach... i still think it's BIOS issue for non chv-z r2.0 boards.

QUOTE(davidletterboyz @ Dec 26 2012, 11:55 PM) A lot had changed since I last overclocked any CPU! My modest OC so far using stock HSF and undervolt the Vcore by 0.1V. [attachmentid=3227649] Anyone here using Gigabyte GA-970A series motherboard? I noticed the FSB is not stable after I flashed to F7 BIOS. It will occasionally shoot up to 3-4MHz difference in FSB. woot!!! nicely done bro... gotta love d volt @ that clock!!! lookin forwards to more awesome results from u...

d master legends has spoken... on a serious note juice mite not be enuf so high clock + 7970. temp wise? 3.8GHz needed a > 1.45v is definitely wrong. there must be something causing d instability there.

u dont need to post so many attachment while u can printscreen with all of 'em @ 1. mate. if possible show voltages value using turbo v @ ai suite ii, it's a very2 useful tool, listen... listen... listen... use it. when u play with htt oc, did u lower ram frequency by using lower divider?

if happened ur aimin to go for asus r2.0 boards using ya 960t u mite wanna think twice coz these boards have yet to support core unlocking. am sure this can be done, depends on whether asus can help in rolling out a new bios for core unlocking. r2.0 boards are meant for bd/pd where no core unlcoking can be done. dont get me wrong, r2.0 boards are beast even for thuban/zosma, but at d moment there's no core unlocking can be done, as simple as that. this is what i managed on one of these r2.0 boards. if u think 63'C is hot, wait till i show u near to 70'C on BD, same clock @ 4GHz with slightly higher volt @ 1.25v (BIOS set). i am using H100... time like this i really wish there are other mobo users on diff manufacturers, asus seems to be reportin higher temp imo. or it could be d fact that i'm not able to accept d fact that BD/PD is that hot... ibt is optimized for intel imo, for amd system p95 is d only way to go... but then, stability is very subjective.

like tok guru cloudwan said, cpu nb freq can be clock way higher, ram change to 1t (command rate @ 1) too if possible. fyi thuban should be capable of at least 2600Mhz with ease (some additional volt MIGHT be needed though).

QUOTE(XyzionzX @ Apr 16 2013, 06:21 PM) not so concerned bout idle temp thou lower always welcome. bd is the bigger beast when it comes to load temp when oc'ed. for ya case, it could be these few factors that holdin ya oc mileage: 1. that 2 locked core is not as strong as d other 4 > nothing much u can do bout this other than feeding all more juice 2. motherboard quality 3. psu quality i could be wrong thou...
