i remembered i turned it off.. maybe the alarm? i think after i turned off the alarm, i didnt do anything to it (my current practise since honeycomb) and i think the screen didnt turn off by itself or still stay awake..

same issue.. out of sudden, when i played it again, it is in the "ASUS" screen.. and need to turn off and turn on again to restart..

i think ICS play the HD videos become very slow and laggy..
i just click to uncheck the HD at left bottom corner to play the normal quality video.. this is quite annoying also.. haha

maybe there are some background services running on ur TF? try download apps to check on background tasks

If the battery drains fast maybe your unit is having random restarts/hang without you knowing.
My unit's wifi is switched on all the time and the battery has no problem lasting a full day.

so now the best battery saver method for unstable ICS is to shutdown your device when you are not using it?
/s

but then again, it takes less then a minute to boot up, i think i can still accept that, since i don't really use it on the go nowadays

erm ... been using ICS since Revolver updated to ICS. So far battery doesn't seems any different from Honeycomb.

I let my wifi ON all the time with a few auto sync, i think it has been 2 days now and its still alive. Later i go home i try screen shot and share here

I think those that having battery issues are those facing random reboots without knowing it

Revolver is still on beta right? is Revolver parts available for the version now?
and how is the 720p playback right now on the Revolver? Is it as good as in HC last time?

revolver yeah .. still beta , apart from no revolver parts , it works as it should. I even updated from HC to ICS (revolver to revolver) without wipe. So everything i had in HC is intact.

later i go home i test 720p see how then update here smile.gif

OK tested 720p video(naruto by horriblesubs) using BS player, if use software rendering there is a lot of tearing and frame drops. If I use BS player built in engine for hw acceleration, very smooth and no issue at all.

As promised here is the screenshot of my battery life, 26% remaining

iirc there's still another option of default hardware encoding mode? can u try that? i tried BS Lite's own engine, it is ok, but i still get stutters or slowdown/speed up randomly accross my video, overall acceptable tho

Correct the other option is to use system decoding engine. Just tried it out, definitely not as smooth as BS own engine

i see... because of this and some other reasons, i really thinking of getting back to HC before the ICS comes out... i missed overclocking, and the smooth 720p playback, not to mention at least Dolphin doesn't crash when u try to full screen on youtube video... all this are affecting my daily usage experience

its not luck, i believe ICS amplifies existing problems more. usually some stuff like missing homescreen icons is due to widget problems and battery drain i believe is due to some app/service that is running eating up battery. still need to figure out which app is causing this..i'm facing battery drain only now..previously faced the missing homescreen icons issue but i've fixed it already by finding out which widget causing it - then uninstall it, reinstall back..

i've started having massive battery drain, force restarts,... umm.. not sure about missing icons.. (since i dont use the tab)..
since that tab was my 1st android of any kind, i went mental with downloading all kinds of shit into it..LOL..
since there's soo much things in it, i thot its better to just do a factory reset and for go for broke..
now my wife complaining her 'restaurant city, fashion city, bla bla all gone... LOL..
hope fully solves the the battery drain and force restarts...
fingers crossed..

i think they restore their apps that's why, so the problem will still be there i guess.
