Asus Transformer Prime Is A Sleek Quad-Core 10.1-Inch Tablet, Priced Too

Mentioned in the news that tablet will be priced at USD 499 for 32GB and docking for $149;

That would mean for 18 hrs of battery life (12 hrs for tablet alone), one needs to spend about RM 2010 for the transformer prime? Sure hope they provide an adapter with a longer cable.

the camera does sound way better than the current transformer...
being one of the first who queued for the TF before testing really gave me a big shock when i tried taking picture with it for the first time..
my reaction was like "What?! this is horrible" lol

they already announced prime but i noticed 1 thing - it only has 1 usb port unlike our dock got 2 because they need to maintain the slim profile on the dock so have to cut down the port to 1 usb port only which is sad because if u plug in a mouse, you cant plug in something else like a pendrive or external hdd already unless you plug out your mouse...

Added on November 9, 2011, 8:01 pmbtw apparently the reason why you guys didnt get the update is because asus malaysia pulled the update due to the app backup app not working. that's stupid...i wonder will i have any problem updating later, hopefully not. here's what they said on facebook:

Dear Transformer user,

Kindly be informed that we have stopped the FOTA for 8.6.5.18 update until further notice for the new version due to App Backup unable to function properly as feedback by most users. We will keep you guys informed. Stay tune. Thank you.

my ps3 controller works fine. tried on ShadowGun and arcade emulator, king of fighter 2002 and metal slug 3

that's how technology is..i also sakit hati..but what to do

yeah.. it just works.. dont have to do anything.. u can navigate your home screen using the controller too..

just a tip though, sometimes it dont detect the USB, so have to restart the tf to fix it..

not really obsolete.. everything tf prime can do, tf also can do (based on what i hear)... just tf prime can do better, especially the gaming.. and well maybe the camera.. i'd rather wait for third tf, or maybe 4th then only upgrade.. lol

Unless your time owning the TF1 was a horrible experience, there is nothing to sakit hati about. Otherwise, in the technology world, no need to buy anything. just wait and wait for the next generation.

agreed, our TF101 is still awesome IMHO
