Yes i think because i can use Joikuspot Wifi hotspot using Nokia x6 now without rooting and replacing wpa_suplicant.

I tested the wifi on my unit today - I can detect channel 13! Yes, all wifi channels are unlocked after the latest fw update!

but the official update log from Asus didnt even mention it...

You can check it out. I'm using Wifi Analyzer app to see all the AP. Connected to my office's wifi which is set at channel 13.
Hands up to Asus for the quick fw update on this

I hope they solve the ramdump/reboot issues that sometimes occur on my unit. Will wait and see whether random reboots still happens.

Batch is B80, no yellowish tint but speaker on right is still louder than left (sigh) got to live with that. adroid is version 3.1

mine B70 also not yellowish.

Added on August 26, 2011, 2:08 pmmy stock ROM 8.6.5.9 is rooted using the script for 8.6.5.7 so i'm gonna re-root it.

i'm probably not going to flash recovery again. sticking with stock recovery for now... unless i feel like going to custom ROM...

Going to fully charge it and update to latest firmware. No intention to root it. But sadly the sound output is really obvious. Right is so loud till left no sound.

mine sounds equal left and right. tried boosting with Volume+ and listen to both sides, still equal.

Volume+ / Voodoo patch really makes a difference esp. with some vidoes that have low volume...

B80 can use iphone wifi tethering on the spot.

of cos move to HC 3.2, since you plan not to root it or install custom ROM you should go right to the latest 8.6.5.9
