you can install another SATA SSD or NVMe SSD

Pretty easy to upgrade it - make sure to update the BIOS and drivers

dear guy/ gals

Does anyone here use WWAN module in the thinkpad? Does this module use SIMCARD ? if yes, what size of simcard?

Secondly I noticed that there are a few series of Thinkpad, which is better T or L?
Thanks

WWAN Thinkpad uses a nano SIM (newer ones). You need to buy it with WWAN card . Then you may use it

E series is the cheapest, it's made out of materials such as hard plastic and doesn't have features such as roll cage and drain holes and mil spec testing. L series is the next step up, it's still made from cheaper hard plastics but gets drain holes mil spec testing keyboard backlighting etc. T series gets glass reinforced plastic for a stronger and more premium feel along with all the features mentioned above. X is ultralight + whatever T has and carbon fibre

Well it's lighter , display is better - but it's crippled. For instance no upgradable battery and no 2 RAM slot.

Look for earlier gen T480 is going pretty cheap and L480 - these are good thinkpad as in they can be upgraded easily . Else look for someone with edu e-mail address to get 15% off discount

Now it's the good time to get T480 series with customization as it is going very cheap before they take out the customization

1 Ringgit update is a no brainer for a business laptop- Just opt for it and pay for the extended warranty
