WWAN Thinkpad uses a nano SIM (newer ones). You need to buy it with WWAN card . Then you may use it

E series is the cheapest, it's made out of materials such as hard plastic and doesn't have features such as roll cage and drain holes and mil spec testing. The beauty part of eGPU is it acts like a dock , you just need one cable to plug it in to charge the laptop + get powerful GPU

eGPU comes with the GPU - it's together , else it would have been expensive. You can pick used one for RM 1600 or so. You'll get power of eGPU + power from the quad core
For me , I have to take original charger , I can't charge X1 Extreme with USB-C unless it is 85W or 100W even that it's slow charging. FOR X1C , you can easily charge it with 45W charger

Other brands just sell case and we buy our desktop GPU. I picked this one because it's small
45W USB chargers are very slim or you can buy PD Powerbank.
