Ya, Right.. I shipped this ThinkPad from US...
Before i also think that hard to get 'stuff' shipped from US until i start buying 'stuff' at Ebay -Here some shaking 'handphone' pic quality of my new toy Edit: This machine still works real good in low temp. (very cold labroratory.. fridge) for hrs! And look at the right 'Shift' key This post has been edited by V3000: Oct 11 2008, 10:19 PM |

QUOTE(kege @ Oct 12 2008, 03:24 AM) sl400> but the spec is lower, less sturdy casing, glossy screen (i prefer matte screens). really shouldn't be classified as a thinkpad IMO. but thanks for your input Ah, late reply... busy funny day v3000> how much did shipping cost u man? and how long did it take? right shift key> what about it?? -Shipping fees using FEDex 'International Priority' cost me +-65USD for a big heavy box.. but inside everything soo small... -Ship from Tennessee,US to Johor,Malaysia take 3½ days -Bout the 'shift' key.. dont u think they made it looooonger compares to other brand? |

QUOTE(shawn-mode @ Oct 11 2008, 11:30 PM) Thats not drug lab right? Yes it's a 'drug' lab, but not those 'Illegal DRUG' hehe! QUOTE(kege @ Oct 13 2008, 09:44 AM) thats a really good deal for shipping. do you think you could give me a run through on the whole thing? ie how u ordered and shipped because i've read on the thinkpad forums regarding international shipping issues. some guy couldn't order because lenovo @ US does not accept international credit cards for payment; and the only way to ship was via FEDex (like you said) or any other logistics (DHL etc). Here's the extract and the link. The first one is a purchaser from Malaysia, the second one from Italy. Bro, I hope u understand.. when u buy online u do face Risk and Troublesome procedures.link: http://forums.lenovo.com/lnv/board/message...s&thread.id=330 http://forums.lenovo.com/lnv/board/message...&thread.id=2150 about your shiftkey> i'm no thinkpad veteran, but i think the 'shift' key looks normal. my desktop's keyboard looks like that Thanks again for all the help, fellow ThinkPadders (Please dont come here flame or curse me if shits happen) Everything at your Very OWN RISK. Hehe 1st - Try find/Google Good (trusted) online stores that offer 'International Shipping' and accept 'International Credit Card' (They may or may not ask u to show them 'prove' bout the card u wish to pay them - ie: Fax/Email copy of ur cards etc etc) 2nd - After u get those store(I get few of them that ship to Malaysia by Google) compare their online sellling price and what kind of shipping service they offer and how much they cost u (Lower better) 3rd - Then choose the model u wish to buy and chat with their CS, see if they can arrange (Priority Order) for u.. normally they dont do that for 1st time buyer 4th - Proceed to Payment.. they will ship ur stuff at the same day they receive ur payment. 5th - Sit back and relax after 3-15 (depend on which service they offer) days u'll receive ur 'Goods' Bout the 'Shift' key, Yup same size as Desktop keyboards keys but this 1 build on a 12" lappy.. Cheers! This post has been edited by V3000: Oct 13 2008, 03:32 PM |

Erm.. i suggest u guys/kege and (esp for those who want to get something can't get here) check this store out http://www.sparco.com
(Agian, at your own risk) -This store does ship worldwide, less trouble on 'International Credit Card Payment', their CS do help us online (real time chat) and they got almost everything from Gadgets to Server Personally i give this online store 5 BIG Shining STAR! They all are real professional in everyway really unlike those on our 'Proud BOLEH Land' If u guys successfully get your long waited/dreamed stuff here, hoho! Dont forget to ' Cheers!
