That doesn't sound very promising. The Hyve is more popular? Or investors don't think Cyberjaya will boom?

I would estimate that Tower 1 95% sold, where as for Tower 2, maybe 20%?
Yeah, all the bigger units have been sold, just left the studio units.

A very funny trend indeed, as most other projects, the studio unit would be sold out 1st since its lower entry point, as compared to the bigger units.

Maybe it has got to do with the expected rental returns. More rooms, higher returns.

If i am the investor i will opt for more rooms too because studio unit is selling in almost every project in CBJ. One day the studio in CBJ can be more than the entire PJ and KL.

How do you total up to 10k units? Would like to know. I probably can count half of that only.

LOL....I beg to differ though...Since Cyberjaya is a growing ICT hub, with many MNC's there, the demand for studio units is very high actually, albeit for a short period only (anything from 3 to 12 months). Know this very well since I am working at one of the MNC's there.

This growing trend of increase in demand in studio units is not only apparent in Cyberjaya but throughout Klang Valley. Thus, many new developments now offer 2+1 or 3+1 units, whereby the +1 is a connected studio unit, giving the investors the choice to rent out that single studio unit. Latest example would be Zefer Hill Residence?

Take up rates of studio units at matured areas within KL is really good. Take for example, AmCorp Mall, which is walking distance to Taman Jaya LRT station. There is strong demand for the studio units there.

Oversupplied? Maybe you should get more info from the Ministry of Housing and also Department of Statistics, Malaysia regarding urbanisation, housing and population... :-)

Half means 5000 units. From now until end of 2016 is about 4 years. So there should be at least an increase of 1250 individuals yearly to CBJ to meet the supply of residences by end of 2016. Break it down further: is approx 100 persons per month.

I work in CyberJaya so i roughly know the demand here for Studio. Based on my understanding, the demand for Studio is really really low. In fact there are many local here and the foreigner mostly prefer 2 to 3 rooms apartment.

Plus the mnc company pay for their rent since they are expat, so no point for them to rent just a studio unless the 2-3BD rental is out of their rental coverage.

Expats from the region for the company that I work with stay at Cyberview when they come over to Malaysia. And I know that other MNC's to this too. Regardless, any mid-high end service apartments is a welcome for this MNC's, since Cyberview is quite expensive. If you happen to visit the sales gallery when it was first opened for booking, you will notice that there were already a few floors that have been fully booked, especially the higher floors. These are the corporate bulk purchase by the MNCs there, my company, being one of them. One of the deciding factors that made me jump in too.

Dropped by Pangaea Show Gallery at Cyberjaya in the morning....still in progress but was told by the security guard there that it should be ready and in operation by mid of this month. Took a few pics. The show unit also ready already but didn't manage to take any photos because it was locked up.
