after watching the youtube and samsung spec. i believe that samsung going to split existing tab user to 2 group. cause i don't see the new tab 7.7 comes with any sim slot. and mayb honeycomb not design for phone but solely for tablet?

looks like Samsung trying to convince user that if they want tablet+phone function, go for Note, else go for any of the 3 galaxy tab that suit them.

It comes with sim card slot.

The phone function is available too, but unlike the 7" inch, phone has no shortcut button.

A thread has just been started for the Tab 7.7 . Please post your comments on this new tab over there to avoid polluting the Tab 7" discussionhere. However comments comparing it to present Tab 7" is most welcome

Hi, just bought sgt from mudah, found it's running italian baseband: p1000xxjpz, kernel: se.infra@sep-52 #2, build: gingerbread.xxjq1. so far so good, not experiencing any problems. Should i, or should i not upgrade firmware? doesnt't have any form of warranty card with it, means if something goes wrong, i m on my own.

NO. All your data will be wipe. So just use , say Titanium Backup to backup all your apps/data. You can just easily restore it back

helo, everyone. NKIT. Wanna get Galaxy Tab 7", can any guru help me up:
(a) how is the battery life?
(b) Total usable RAM after upgraded to GINGERBREAD-DXJPE? On stock ROM Froyo was 443MB, after upgraded GB, more usable RAM?
Appreciate all reply.
© Any seller may want to sell brand new GT P1000 at RM1200 or less?

Cheers!!!

Any draw back / short coming comparing GB to Froyo? More battery drain under same condition or etc?

I don't think RAM is ever an issue in the Tab. I don't ever bother to look at the numbers. WHat I can tell you upgrading to GB is a must you must do

Appreciate your reply. I like the weight not the thickness of Tab 7.
U in the opinion that battery life of Tab 7 with GB DXJPE much better than Tab10.1?
Do u feel that honeycomb will not support voice call over GSM and etc
in near future?

Thanks in advance. Your advice is valuable.

Cheers! thumbup.gif
