Appreciate your reply. I like the weight not the thickness of Tab 7.
U in the opinion that battery life of Tab 7 with GB DXJPE much better than Tab10.1?
Do u feel that honeycomb will not support voice call over GSM and etc
in near future?

Thanks in advance. Your advice is valuable.

Cheers! thumbup.gif

Tab 10.1 batterylife very much better than tab 7
At least 20-30% I estimate
Call on HC I don't think so. Simply is unwise from a business strategy to make money n in products differentiation to capture a different market of users

Region specific means it will only update firmware available in your region ( the original rom )
Example if you have a Msian rom, you can update if there is a Msian new firmware. You cannot say update a HOng Kong or Europe firmware, even if available
But as far as I know, based on user feedback there are already new updates for most of the countries after FROYO 2.2.2

Install the latest KIES ; if you have KIES - launch it and at menu bar on top , select update the software first

That is the beauty of KIES - sometimes it work and when it does, most beautifully or erractic that you keep cursing and would just wantb to throw away your PC. Most of the time it won't work and than you would wantb to thrash your PC first and than throw it away
My advise is always forget about KIES. Having use sync software for the past 30 years, i must say KIES is shitty junk sync software, not worth using. Install it just for the phone drivers
If you wish to use it, my advise is Try again , than TRY AGAIN, than try again , try again, try again..........

This is my answer to your last PM. Your box is full and cannot accept new PM. As said, please post all your concern here. More than 1 person can help you, as I am not online every hour

You have to root first before you can do any good backup
If you just want to backup your apps BUT no data associated with apps: use MyBackupPro. If your Tab is rooted, this app will backup all data that you have accumulated with the app. Try it - there are 2 parts - one for app and one for your contact, calendar, sms, ,call log etc etc

With root, another excellent backup/restore app : Titanium Backup Pro

After root, install recovery than use recovery to do a FULL 100% backup of rom/all your data than only flash new rom. All these are in pitbull's guide,. He even teaches you other software you can use. Go n download his guide and read it first

Hi guys!

Just switched to Kratos a couple of hours ago. Any notable differences? I was previously doin Jups. Was doing fine until i noticed a serious lag issue. So i switched to the new.

Your comments are valuable. Thanks.
