I agree with you, E11 is more to dark. E11 is using AD8397 and hard to change to opamp yourself.

If compare with JDS CMOYbb using OPA2134 (modded), cmoy give a really bright sound.

How much will the CMOYbb and OPA2134 cost? smile.gif

Hey guys, would like to improve music listening in terms of sound quality and clarity. Currently im using JBL Reference 410, and usually listen to APE or 320kbps format.

Any idea which headphone amp or DAC should i opt for? and Less than RM600.

Thanks peeps smile.gif

i think you should beef up your source and use dedicated players, and that goes to another section

FiiO E7 or E10

E7 has in-build battery, takes both USB and 3.5mm audio in for portability. E10 has no battery and only USB in.

Hello guys.. I'm just wondering, is it worth it to buy a Fiio E3 for my earphones and headphones (not audiophile headphones blush.gif )? I mainly use my SonicGear Earpump 2.. I chose the Fiio E3 because I want a clearer sound and maybe a bit more bass for the cheapest price.. My sources are my Nokia 5130, Ipod Shuffle and Laptop.. biggrin.gif

Thanks in advance! notworthy.gif

Box+ should be good enough to drive the Solo. Just head to Jaben and give it a try and see if that combination satisfies u wink.gif

I'd advise u to upgrade ur earphones first instead of wasting money buying amp for it. Fiio E3 will probably make no difference. Add abit more money u can get some entry-level hippo/superlux earphones which are far more superior than sonic gear's.

E3 will give a little bass boost, but I doubt it would make anything clearer. A head/earphone upgrade is recommended for a significant upgrade@difference.

Take the advice, get a better earphone rather than spent on the amp.

ANyway, this is not the headphone/earphone threads.

Yes, should be better than Sonicgear
