QUOTE(CoolBoy89 @ Oct 15 2011, 05:04 PM) I'd advise u to upgrade ur earphones first instead of wasting money buying amp for it. Fiio E3 will probably make no difference. Add abit more money u can get some entry-level hippo/superlux earphones which are far more superior than sonic gear's. QUOTE(Agnaem @ Oct 15 2011, 07:19 PM) E3 will give a little bass boost, but I doubt it would make anything clearer. A head/earphone upgrade is recommended for a significant upgrade@difference. Will the Hippo Groove do any better? This post has been edited by BanG_DeaD: Oct 16 2011, 02:09 AM |

QUOTE(nordingh @ Oct 16 2011, 02:39 AM) Take the advice, get a better earphone rather than spent on the amp. Taking.. ANyway, this is not the headphone/earphone threads. I know this is not a headphone/earphone thread but i wanted to reply to these guys who replied to me because it'll be easier. I just need 1 reply back- A 'yes' or 'no' |

Hi guys.
I was looking at the Maverick TubeMagic D1 and was thinking of getting it. I want to ask about the connection on the back as I'm not really sure ![]() If i want to connect the DAC to my amp, which analog output do i use? What is the use of the analog input when this is a D-A-C ? Is it used for the 'Headphone Out' ? Thanks in advance |

QUOTE(E1 - AKG @ Mar 17 2012, 02:16 PM) Confused No.. I want to place the DAC in the living room for my dad to use with his cd player which only has coaxial and optical output.. so, i'm looking for a DAC which has coaxial input.. If the DAC has a Coaxial input, that would be enough.. What i meant was, if there is also a USB input, that would be a bonus for me as i can connect my laptop too if i wanted.. Hmm, hope this is understandable.. So your source should state PC instead of CD player unless you are using the digital out from it |

Guys, I've been looking at the FireStone Fubar IV Desktop DAC/Amplifier and the FireStone Audio SpitFire MKII DAC. Are they good? I will only need the DAC part..
