better if 2 separate entity, so if one breaks down, you can replace it, if e10 or e7 or even alpen, the whole system goes down when 1 part dies

E11 is dark sounding a bit compared to cmoybb, and cant use during battery charging
*
To be precise, the FiiO E11 is well known to be very transparent with not coloration, what a decent amp should be. It is the Cmoy that is bright.

Not really. When I asked them prior to ordering directly from Schiit, they said they have stopped carrying Schiit products indefinitely. That means they have no idea when they'll restock again, and they don't order it even upon request, not for Schiit at least.

Yes, but that issue can be very subjective depending on what perspective you look at.

And frankly, I think it was stupid and meaningless, both sides are trying to force their opinions onto each other, while dragging the other head-fi'ers into the process.

If you need to use it on both desktop and dap, you can only consider the FiiO E7 or E17 nod.gif By the way, which model of NWZ is your Sony hmm.gif

You will do fine with FiiO E7/L3 combo for both desktop and iPhone. It will do good with the DT770Pro/80ohms and Triple-fi 10.

If you have the budget to take things further, the FiiO E17/E9 combo will take it to another new level nod.gif

With the much higher sampling rate of the E17, you will get more details and depth from your music. Coupled with the raw power of the E9, you will get even more body from the DT770Pro/250ohms.

Portable =
iPhone > FiiO L3 or L9 > FiiO E17 > Triple-fi 10 or DT770Pro/80ohms
Home =
Desktop > USB > FiiO E17/E9 combo > Triple-fi 10 or DT770Pro/250ohms
iPhone > FiiO L3 or L9 > FiiO E9 > Triple-fi 10 or DT770Pro/250ohms

Hi, can someone recommend me between these 2?
FiiO E10 vs E17
I'm mostly watching anime movie, some music and some gaming (Diablo 3, etc.).
Will I feel different from those 2? Using the noob noob earphone AT CK-300M blush.gif

Or if you feels there're better suggestion can also put them here. wink.gif
Thank you very much.

If you are only using it with your computer, go with the FiiO E10. If you intend to use with portable devices as well, go with the E17 nod.gif

sound quality and reliability. I want to buy schiit bifrost but after some research, there is an issue with the clicking sound coming from the device and the issue of the optical input..so it kinda turned off..one more thing, if something happen to bifrost, i need to send back to US and it'll cost me a lot.
*
The clicking sound is normal, btw. Its the unit regulating the voltage when you switch songs/inputs so your headphones doesn't get nasty power spikes.

Not really a speaker person, but yes, tried it with my shitty Edifier speakers. Cleans up alot of the sound, but I'm more towards headphones.
Maybe next time when I can afford better, newer speakers.

But i think that device bs la, how come it can convert stereo h.phones to surround sound? Doesn't make sense. More to like marketing gimmick.

Are there any difference between dac for headphone and dac for speakers?

Guys, What are the difference between preamp and double amping? and does all of the headphone amp with volume control can act as preamp to speakers? Tq
