Rm30 pond. Actually otw bak ady. My 3G not working there. Use bread catch nothing. In the end caught 2 lampam with dedak n panadol pellets.

ahh...i didnt bring my lures with me.

tried ady also. my friends n i used 2 diff types of bread. flavor n non flavor also hantam ady. play float, bottom, middle...even gantung also. guys beside me caught a damn huge keli. no many big fishes landed. only the keli and a 3-4kg size pacu caught by some uncle the whole time i was there. (11pm-4pm)

For normal fishing i use Gamakatsu octopus hooks or Owner hooks. circle hooks i use Mustad. Havnt really tried jigging yet though.

Btw...anyone can share with me an effective bait for catching a mekong? Would really like to try and land one after my friend poisoned me. I asked him for the bait he said he took it from another fella and dont really know.

Oh can try ur luck at some roadside pond near the lcct mosque. 3 ponds the size of 2-3 futsal courts. My first time there I caught a juvenile haruan. Maybe lucky la cuz my other friends who went caught nothing. another place can try is this small lake at Kota damansara which some ppl say looks like a mini kenyir. But I never caught anything there. Always see locals there aiming haruans with live baits; frogs, cengkerik n small fishes.

Oh since bro kumanosuke was asking the same thing, does the single hooks need to be a specific one for lures? If not mistaken I bought some before during my past trip to the pond n I notices the eye angulation was different. But I manage to get them only in once size. Any other place selling them?
