how is it soo far??any lag or gps issues??

Lag always there with stock launcher.

Use ADW Launcher Ex and O.C to 1.4+ ..buttersmooth

GPS no issue. To improve GPS lock, u can apply AGPS patch by crypted to improve max GPS Lock (default 4).

oohh...tempted to try...now using lightspeed 1.5 with thor's latest kernel....any idea whether thor's new rom would be better??hahah....thx again for the info!!

I used ADW Launcher Ex with Taboonay 2.2 last time didnt have any prob.

What problem you gettin?

Btw i never tried lightspeed ROM before so i cant compare with Thor ROM

But Thor ROM is definitely faster than Taboonay and honeyvillain

super lag when using ADW with taboonay...hahaha....anyway...flashed thor's kernel ytd with adw with OC till 1.4....n its super sweet....fast n smooth....thx for the info Vail!!....btw.....do get some FC's when running HD games??

hi guys, i've got an issue here.

i'm on virtuous picasso 3.1 (v1.1.10) base kernel unity v5

after a month long not touching the device (charger got stolen) i finally booted it up. Updated an entire library of apps, probably 150 in total....

and then found out that my SDCARD and USB is unusable.

i went to CWM (acer recovery tool) that uses itsmagic. when i tried to load from SDCARD it says "E:/SDCard is not found" or something similar to that.

for some weird reason i only had a downloaded version of US based GEN 3.0 stock honeycomb in the recovery.


should I

1) force downgrade to 3.0?
2) sent it in for warranty?


USB and SDCARD just won't load.

or any other avenues that i should pursue?

will attempt to have round 2 by 3pm later. feedback very much appreciated.

hmm i dont think thats taboonay issue. probably the kernel ur using have problems .

If you want to use Taboonay, suggested using richardtrips kernel. make sure u turn governor to On Demand to avoid lag.

For FC on HD Games, what games you havin problem?

So far only Nova 2 i couldnt load it with Thor ROM.
The rest are fine.
(asphalt 6, 9MM HD, Backbreaker THD, Angry Birds HD, GOF2 THD,Guerilla Bob THD, Hero of Sparta HD, Lets Gold 3 HD, N.O.V.A HD, NFS Shift HD, Spiderman HD, Sprinkle THD, Riptide GP THD, etc)

CWM > Flash New ROM > See whether got problem.

and check whether ur SDCard is working (remove it and use SDcard reader to check and format it as well)

update: it seems that because i swapped the SD card, it gives an error of which it reads the PREVIOUS card.


the uncanny solution: apply a little pressure on the backside of the tablet where the sd card slot is. then open manager. voila. now detected.

try searching in market iMplayer+ (ilflux movie player)

and search for wuzhenhua if you understand chinese.

idk about rmvb format, but most of A500 users recommend MX Video Player *source at xda*
