already call their hq! and now the shop call me and ask me to come..they will refund back my rm50.. rclxms.gif

When I bought it last week, i did ask, and straight away they minus RM50 from the RM1599.

Sadly, my first unit with tiny hole on the glass screen (not on the surface, but from the inside). So i changed to 2nd unit.

Went home and tested 2nd unit, screen bleed a bit on one side, with 3 dead pixels spotted.

Arranged to change they agreed, and during exchange, i open up 2 brand new boxes, ( i was like a person who has opened up 4 new sets of Iconia with single purchase!) found both boxes with defects (tiny chipped holes from the inside).

That's crazy, I wonder if SenQ received all defected Iconias from ACER Malaysia?

Tomorrow, I will ask them to refund liow... cant take it anymore! mad.gif

I still like Iconia... smooth OS without S/W problems to me so far sad.gif

Wow, that is bad luck!

Ooops, you reminded me of checking for screen bleed and dead pixels... How do you check? Open an blank white image in the Iconia?

For screen bleed, very simple (view in total darkness with max brightness setting), look at the 4-edges of the screen in total darkness, if you notice imbalance brightness if there is a bleed.

For dead pixels, do download the test s/w from android market.

Wow, luckily you told me, after I inspect mine, there are 2 tiny holes from the inside on the screen!

No screen bleeding in my case.

I think I will go for an exchange later, do I need to bring along the box? hmm.gif

Bring everything. Wipe the screen clean clean so that you can show to them. Which branch of SenQ are you going to?

I just afraid if SenQ is selling defected A500... in big quantity...as I do not hear other complain from users buyng from other retailers

My new unit seems okay so far...

The counter ladies some more can tell me dead pixel, screen defect, blah blah blah... which I do not expect she would know, hehe... rclxm9.gif

one question... is iconia dual bootable? i heard somewhere icodia can boot on windows 7 and honeycomb or gingerbread when u on it

Just update 'again' to HC 3.1 Acer Official ROM, working great, except for some bugs during download apps from market place, my internet connection is slow perhaps tongue.gif

Wow, SenQ really superb! I love their service. I complaint to the lady that this is the 4th unit having problem, and she does expect me to ask for refund. So I did.

Thumbs up for SenQ customer service! thumbup.gif

They are now processing to refund the amount back from my credit card! (approx. 2 weeks)

I will miss Iconia sad.gif
