After flashed to VillainROM and seeing some widgets and apps disappeared like Polaris, Vlingo (pre-installed version in S2 diff with market free apps version?) and funny lockscreen error . . I felt some uneasiness and decided to restore back to stock ROM . . and gotta say I am more comfortable with stock ROM coz dun have to spend so much time to fix the problems with the ROM . .

Stock ROM looks nicer to me . . maybe just wan to change the battery icon to an batterty icon that shows figures . . any theme to rekomend?

Hello Guys.

I'm using galaxy S2 since last tuesday. and i realise that my battery goes down very fast.

I unplug it in the morning 8o clock and then the whole day i mostly only use to SMS and talk time less than 30 min. without using livewallpaper and disable all the bluetooth, wifi ,3G and the auto sync plus i adjust the brightness to the lowest.

but my battery will only left 10% when i reach 6 o clock something. is it my problem or the phone got problem? please tell me what to do. sigh!

You dont need pro version to do backup and restore. I dunno what the pro version offers but the non-pro version is enough for me to do backup and restore of my apps.

how about nandroid backup? what is the difference between titanium backup pro and nandroid backup??
Is this also doing the same function ?

This thread really moving very fast , exactly 2 days already at 39 pages. But sadly a lot of repeated questions, flaming debating which is better bla bla bla...
New users please do read page 1 where I have attempted to post commonly FAQ and root/rom/flashing guidelines

Nandroid is a 100 % FULL backup of your phone . If your phone crashed, restoring from this backup will give you back the phone exactly as it was at backup time. Titanium backup only backup your system apps, 3rd party apps and your data. If your phone crashed , Titanium Backup cannot restore your phone. You use TB to restore back your data when the phone is in working condition

This is standard codes - works with any Samsung phone not only SGS II. Try again, maybe you mistype. After you finish typing, you will see immediately a silver background titled LCD TEST with 17 boxes of tests parameters
If it doesn't work at all, your phone has problem

With minimal use, a bit of call, sms, download/update from Market via Wifi, update weather, news, Cars Buzz etc via Wifi..., my SGS2 battery remaining 76% after 23 hours.....i think it is quite okay....

After flashing to villain rom 1.4, and did all the steps to get kernel upgraded to XXKF4, seems to be working fine, but just now when I touch the back of the phone, the spot around the camera, feel very hot... anyone experiencing this? Normally it only heats up a lot when charging the phone... now not charging also
