Hello Guys.

I'm using galaxy S2 since last tuesday. and i realise that my battery goes down very fast.

I unplug it in the morning 8o clock and then the whole day i mostly only use to SMS and talk time less than 30 min. without using livewallpaper and disable all the bluetooth, wifi ,3G and the auto sync plus i adjust the brightness to the lowest.

but my battery will only left 10% when i reach 6 o clock something. is it my problem or the phone got problem? please tell me what to do. sigh!
*
Same here.... is it need few rounds of charging for max performance?? Kinda sad to observe the battery drains like water in the drain...

You cannot use Navigation in Google Maps due to licence problems between Google and Msia/Spore
I have posted in Page 1 post# 4 how to overcome this - solution is from XDA

If you read the XDA link : you need ROOT cos:

1. Need Titanium Backup to backup Maps
2. Need to access file system to change file

All these need phone to be rooted
*
Yup, after installing the titanium backup app, when lauching it says the phone need to be root first...
Ok, thanks. Need to study for rooting first smile.gif

when i was asking on the plan in Maxis center, the salesperson told me that if we opt for 2years plan, the phone will have 2 years warranty as well. not sure how true it is, because if you ask different salesperson, definately you will get different anwser... sad.gif

Hey there.. Same here... Just ported from BB Droid family.... Geting bored after using Bb for almost 1.5years.

Buy there way, can i request a cheatsheet for dummiest dummy for rooting and unrooting a SGSII? Main reason is to enable google navigator and also market enabler for skype....

Been reading all the first page posting but mostly linked to xdadeveloper site where it is not a very stright forward method. No confident to root just yet... icon_question.gif
