Is hard to get satellite lock with papago, u need to run your google map get the satellite lock there then only run papago. Try test it when u driving in your car not indoor. I got mine working  thumbup.gif
*
Tried that too, still didn't get a lock at all. On the top right corner of the screen there's a satellite icon with a question mark, and I heard that means they can't get a GPS signal. But my sygic and google map can get the GPS location in 3-5 seconds, weird.

Might be a problem with my papago, will try to reinstall the whole thing again..haih.

hi guys, just wondering which method u used for rooting as mentioned in first page.. so many options, but which one that you all used?
*
If you just want to root : easiest is Supercurio

If you want to root and install recovery same time : Chainfire

If you have been following this thread , you will not see any user using the same method. Different user has different needs and they choose the method that meet their needs. If you do not know what are your needs, probably you don't even need to consider root. Please read the brief lines I wrote about rooting in page one and the few recommended links about it. You will get a clearer picture than whether you need to root or not

I just need my phone got gps,be wifi hot spot, good camera, can install a lot of apps.
So actually I choose from iPhone 4 and galaxy s2 or NYC sensation. But what I read from gsmarena it state that s2 got longer battery life than sensation. So I choose s2 and I also have iPad 2 already.

So does GPS work fine in ur SGS2? What type of GPS apps run smooth in SGS2?
*
I think not only my SGS2, most of us here is more than happy with its fast lock up time.
Personally i only tried the built-in navigation and papago x5, uncle benny said that sygic aura is performing even better.

Sygic Aura is very nice and fast locking as well...but sadly the map is very lack in POI. Papago X5 english voice is kind of weird and miss a lot of turning in between. Miss Garmin so much.

U pitiful creature. Spend more den 2k to buy a phone just to disable all it's features.
What is the use of the 'superb' super amoled plus when u set it to 10% brightness?

Better get nokia classic phones. LOL
Much longer battery life.

That's why nerds n geeks can never truly appreciate the need to balance technology with practicality.
Apple is a company that does it so well truly. Hence they have the best products on the market now.

Anyway, no way to solve ur problem.
Just BUY another battery pack.

trolling again bro?
