anyone facing this..?..

Last night i get scare because i have boot loop after i flash villain rom, the reason is i don't wipe data/dalvik cache before that, i have to go to cyber cafe to find solution how to access back my recovery, thank god can find it in internet.

So for new user that want to root your sgs2, please read the guide carefully.

It was shown as uninstalled in titanium, however i still found it in the system/app folder and hence i reinstalled.

i have yellowish.. and i go back to the shop... unfortunately he has no more stock... so he pay me back the money... O.o...

I think my screen got yellow tint on the left side but not really noticeable unless u have a good eyes. i am not thinking to change it at sme.
Just want to know if this going to be worst in future?
Anyone?

You mean need to do factory data reset after root and before flash new rom?

Super One click root ... can root & unroot

Got my SGS2 a couple of days ago. Been playing with it and its the Best!

Problem is, its heating up on me now and then.... I searched the forums, and many people say it is normal, just have to live with it.....

Another problem... I can connect to the wifi at home and work fine. However, when I go to a public wifi, eg macdonald's, fitness first, the wifi status is connected. But I cannot load any webpage. The signal showing is two bars, so the signal is no problem. Can anyone HELP! Is there any special setting I need to do? I searched the whole 6 versions of this forum, and no one seems to reporting this problem. Is it only my phone that has problem? I got mine from Samsung Dealer In Lowyat.

If need to flash new ROM, we need to do factory data reset, then re-root, then start flash new ROM

A: Open the app menu, tap menu key, choose edit. Drag messaging icon into the dock.

Q: How can I remove the yellow triangle on boot?

A:

After flashing VR1.4, boot to system and install VRTweaks from here - VRTweaks.
Run the VRTweaks app and Install the Symlink Fix, reboot.
Now boot into Download Mode, flash any Stock kernel with ODIN. Wait for phone to reboot.
Go into the CWM app and flash the zImage extracted from any CF-Root kernel zip/tar.
Your phone should now reboot and voila, the triangle is gone.

A: Sounds like you have flashed a wrong kernel. You will need to ODIN flash a compatible one to get it booting, then flash the CF-Root one via CWM app.

Guys, i have question regarding this. I went to Maxis Sunway Pyramid today hoping to buy a SGS2 and sign a 24 months contract but they said it is out of stock, and they're also not sure of the exact E.T.A of new stock.

Does this launching in Midvalley from 22 - 26 Jun has limited stock of SGS2 also ? Looking forward to go there to buy SGS2 and sign a 24 months contract tomoro nite...
