Does anyone know how to check the warranty at samsung website? Because when i get the sms warranty from samsung (bought from 1 utama SEP) it states there 1 year warranty. Went and ask the samsung shop they say got problem with system..confirm will be 2 years warranty. So now wanna check if really 2 years warranty.

I got the SMS on 23rd, is two years. Why not you directly call Samsung Malaysia and ask ?

i have this Certificate of warranty in my box that says 'mail this portion back to samsung malaysia electronics (sme) sdn. bhd. with small boxes to fill up details.. do i need to mail it back to them to get warranty? (bought this from maxis)

also i got this e-warranty user information paper.. is says to check warranty period, send PC<space>IMEI NUMBER but it never specify the sms number to send also... what's the number?

I got my warranty sms from 62005. Perhaps you can try it.

For those who r looking to share their LAN via their laptop WIFI, below are some tips.

1. You need to set up an access point using yr laptop (ad hoc wifi won't work).
2. How to set up? Follow the instruction here -> http://www.ishanarora.com/2009/07/29/windo...s-access-point/
3. After u create the access point just restart yr laptop in case it's not working properly.
4. Make sure u shared your LAN connection via ICS (Internet Connection Sharing)
5. On your mobile WIFI and connect. No USB cable require.

Hi All,

I saw my other phone charger is rated at Output 5V-1.0A. Our S2 charger is rated at Output 5V-0.7A. The longer time of charging might be due to this but can we use 1.0A charger to charge our batt??

Anyone with any information on this matter?

Yes, can use 1A charger. I've been using my old HTC charger which is rated at 1A to charge all my Samsung phones.
