having problem wif my phone now, when plug the phone to pc it will only charge and my battery drain quite fast this few days

still loyal with my 2yr old Desire. Maybe would change when Nexus 4 is out..hehe

in the meantime, I'm using MildWild 5.0 ROM, but I have a problem. My phone often "hangs" lately.. am thinking of flashing ROM again, but don't know which one is better.

can anyone recommends? I've tried MIUI also before.

Am looking for a stable rom to hang on for sometimes... AOKP not a good choice, random restart always...

Hmm my phone also hangs quite frequently recently...seems like its not a ROM specific problem...I'm on Paranoid Android btw...

same with mine. hangs quite often lately. sometime right after a phone call ended, the phone hangs. and need to take out the battery to restart..very annoying.

I have flashed rom a few times already. currently with Mildwild 5.1 rom.
My Desire is already 2 years old, maybe it's time to upgrade.. but waiting to the right phone with the right price..

Same feeling, but there're less worth phone as Desire is nowadays...

Yesterday I went to look at Sony Xperia U , I fall in love but my HTC Desire White still working , just the battery not last and more than 2 years old. I feel like wanna buy a new battery for it but again I don't know when the phone will break down.

Xperia U not a worthy upgrade.

its just a low end phone.
I rather get a Galaxy Nexus which is just above RM1k.
but to find ORI set maybe hard.

Was on Mildwild 4.9 before that, not bad though. I'm also looking for a phone to replace it.. perhaps Lumia 920 will be my next choice.. get bored with android ald.. my galaxy note serve me well enough

and still I don't know. Look like very hard to learn , I think I just stuck at Froyo 2.2

if not mistaken the rooting guide is posted in the first page. so far, desire is still the best phone to flash different firmware. i hardly do that on my note, cause that is my primary phone. for desire, i've tried stock 2.3, miui, cm9, and now cm10

anyhow, it's a 2 yrs phone, seldom ppl support it and stability would be a problem if go to custom rom. look for a newer phone la..
