I'm going to InsertCoin 1.1.3 A2SD+ version, as it don't required S-OFF(too advance for me )
1) Root, via http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=788044
2) Unlock bootloader via http://revolutionary.io/ (I do this cause it is required as stated in http://docs.insertcoin-roms.org/master/en-US/installation/, but, is this step considered S-OFF?)
3) check this downloaded zip file(http://www.multiupload.com/H1MUCCQB0W) by using md3sum (download at http://etree.org/md5com.html)
4) then follow "How do I flash InsertCoin ROM?" at http://docs.insertcoin-roms.org/master/en-US/installation/

The InsertCoin ROM requirement is:
A2SD+ STOCK HBOOT - stock hboot - the one with 250 mB for /system
- 1 gB ext2/3/4 partition
I don't understand what is "1 gB ext2/3/4 partition",
is it I need to make 3 partition on my SD card? which is ext2(1GB), ext3(1GB) and ext4(1GB)?

1GB means make 1 external partition using ext 2/3 or 4 partition.. ext 2/3/4 are Linux Partition types, similar to like NTFS/FAT32 for Windows (that kind of stuff)

and no, 1 partition is enough but doing so will wipe your sd storage so backup on Desktop/Laptop/Notebook/Whatever.

No need gparted (they should really get rid of that shit), use a decent recovery and it's all good.

Look for 4Ext

and since you mentioned you don't want to S-OFF (too complicated for you??), skip revolutionary step.

Just root (use custom recovery - Look for 4EXT or CWM 3.0.0.5 [4ext is promisingly good - imo])
You can do most of the things on Recovery already. (like Phone wiping before Flash....Flash...make microsd partitions..)
of course can't S-OFF with Recovery though.  but you will find Recovery useful once you will be flashing a fair bit to find a suitable ROM for your needs. 

I think you should be alright.
Take note of the MISC: error after-flash though (Incase it happens which it tends to, sometimes - not to me but on 3rd root kena dunno caused by what...flash record too long, a lot of fastboot command-ing so...)
^ Anyway if you look around in xda (Dev Sec) SHOULD have a solution.

rooting guts haha.. Just think of the benefits mate, always think about the benefits...  

Due to our phone's hardware-software limitations by default, I strongly suggest rooting. The advantage is  good.

Of course, if someone gets a phone like Nexus...just get a good Launcher (Go Launcher/ADW) is good enough and no rooting is required (as it will have 1GB for you to use - or possibly more idk, but eitherway, beats 130mb no?)

uh nice to use? well, I used to flash like foox almost 2-3 roms a month at least (serious).

Problem with CWM, you can't choose EXT type, default is 3. Back then, we had some roms which strictly pointed out 4 (was those stupid makers-now Pro de) like the D2SD/Watever or sth like that...HD roms iirc.

Then now all support 2/3/4 so not important but still.

RA can do that but there's something wrong with it's Wipe. Doesn't wipe properly, experience bootloops when changing ROMs, switch back to CWM and re-wipe+flash..no problem.

4EXT is way better, with more options but it has it's own bug (which I avoid using since they already pointed it out) and it doesnt really affect us.

I really hate 3.0 Sense though. BECAUSE it's so F***ing laggy, it's damn hard to move the ring to answer call...make me damn dulan -.-

but now I using stable Leedroid 2.5 froyo (one of THE most stable ROM I ever used after root)..

I pretty much flashed almost all kinds of rom de...except the....Chinese guy something forgot his name ihlades I think, only used 1 of this roms, claim to be faster than <insert> but tried can barely see the difference. After that just ignore his roms. Never tried MIUI XJ too.. Not a great fan of MIUI but their OTB (out of the box) setting options are superb and Theme changing is great. (at least I feel that's what MIUI is great)

Other than that...I can't really recommend much la. Oxygen...CM 7 latest beta (tricky b@$tards sometimes come out cool stuff but never say much, 1 liner builds...)....then the baadnewz lazy follow him liao since he go merge 3.0 (refer previous problem) then I quit, tried HD roms, ok ok lah. feels the same But I really really LIKE the USB internet to phone (Reverse WiFi Tethering)...Really liked it.

Nvm forget what I said If the audio improvement is in the speakers I'd ROFL.

Sensation XE is gimmicky IMO, lol. Especially Beats brand which is the most loathed brand among audiophiles, due to their over priced products. However having a audio brand products integrated into a phone is still better than nothing.
What? HTC Ruby isn't worth drooling for, maybe take a look at HTC Vigor instead. Even then I'd still wait till HTC comes out with a phone that has Qualcomm Krait core running in it, which won't be long considering how often HTC is coming out with new phones.

Nexus but you will lose* your Sense-ness though. Unless you really want Sense then bear-hug HTC until they come out their flagship

I feel Nexus is still the best. Not sure why..

Lol. trust me sgs2 is a great phone. never miss sense sinse using this phone. bout the built quality, just put on casemate tough and its unbreakable.

I don't like galaxy nexus design 

Then I have no choice to save another few more months and just able a Xperia S , waiting for the price to drop more.
