Now no more manufacturer making buckling spring mech keyboards? From what i found, those who used buckling springs, they said are better than MX blue switches...
*
Buckling springs are really fun to type on. But with the amount of noise they make, you are going to annoy a lot of people if you bring it to the workplace for example, since so many people are used to comparatively lower noise rubber domes.

As to your 1k keyboard, which one are you getting? tongue.gif

Kns.. My wireless microsoft keyboard sot gau joe but the mouse works perfectly still. Because my PC is located fairly distance away from my Monitor so wireless is recommended. Any of this keyboard mentioned by you guys have cable long enough around 1.5 meters. Budget is around RM400 for a reasonable good mechanical keyboard. C-zone got for
*
Max USB cable length without repeater is 5 meters.
Can buy 3 meter cable for about RM15. Don't get too cheap ones, I got one for Rm7 from Tesco, does not work.

Rm400 is a decent budget, what kind of switches are you looking for.
Plenty of sources to get from once you include Taobao in.
If you want local, FILCO/DUCKY/Steelseries/Razer not sure about Xarmor
Wait for Cyclone and you can get Leopold.

Foreign sources, too many to list

Damn Squarebox, just notice your collection, that's a lot, if the thief has some knowledge in the IT industry, he might as well steal all of your keyboard instead your cash or whatever, lol!

Model M's are excellent anti theft devices.
No thief is gonna take it, and it is also perfect if you need something for self defense.

There are Blue, Brown, Red, and Black available.

but Black will be limited, since i don't order alot of them(depends on users here, but from what i read from v1 and v2 club thread, not many are fond with black, so i order only a little).

Users that still wondering about Blank Keycaps. Please rest assured that they will be included with the keyboard as this is the 1st batch promotion.

And btw, more information will be release in Leopold Thread, after i'm ready. please give me some time, thanks everyone.

Anyway... time to change topic! my keyboard appearance has led this into Leopold Keyboard sales thread, later mod come wipe and sapu me. let's continue back the mechanical keyboard discussion.
*
I think you should censor this and put this into your sales thread. This is borderline promotion. Especially the blank keycaps part. I think you should put it in your sales thread.
And also, good luck with your sales!!!!

3 new Mech Keyboard distributors within a few months time, thanks you all for taking the trouble to blaze a trail, hope to see more exciting mech keyboard products.

It depends on what your own definition of gotta catch em' all means.
Some people must have every Mech Keyboard ever made, some people just want to try every type of switch.
The latter being the less costly route definitely

If this was a GPU, nobody would've bat an eyelid I think, but since this is a keyboard, oh well.
Bought it for use like a normal keyboard? Takkan buy it as a anti-theft device like the Model M

On a side note, the Awry guy from SG is looking to sell his Black silent for cheaps at GH.

You can get it in Malaysia for RM345.00(with 104blank keycaps included). It’s definitely a low-cost  and high-end mechanical keyboard you can ever get.

finally some pricing information. Good Luck to Cyclone, it's a pretty good price.

If I paid Rm1k for a GPU/CPU/Monitor, nobody here would've bat an eyelid
There should be more closet enthusiast with a more grander collection.
Oh btw, jinhan108 has a 103u 55g since a long time ago, just that he did not want to show until I asked about it. Just scroll back a few pages.

Anyway, whats the point of the Hall of Fame, do I get to receive review set of keyboards? biggrin.gif
I should probably stop spending money like its nothing for the time being, instead of thinking what to buy.

Oh did you get the variable-weighted one? Was thinking the 45g keys may have piqued your interest more. Don't forget to get some coloured keycap sets to pimp it out!
*
Colored keycaps are super duper expensive, but no doubt these Topre made keycaps feels very nice.
I wanted to get a 45g but that would mean getting it from EK which is way more expensive. Now that I'm typing on the variable weighted one, it feels alright since type 'properly'.

Gamer's hideout? I find it ok, RM1XX for a original game.

But if you talk about photography, its GG. biggrin.gif i got poisoned already and aiming for a set.
*
Actually you are right, the photography stuff and audio stuff are more poisonous than just keyboards, monetary wise.
Personally, I can't tell much difference between a RM100 and a RM500 earphone/headphone, so I consider myself having antibody.

But for keyboards, much different story altogether.
