the leopold keyboard cover fits on my choc pro 2. lol

Does the screw holes match too?
I'm thinking the choc pro is a clone of FILCO

I wonder how do wooden keycaps feel like? o.O But taking into consideration that malaysia is so unbelievably humid, i'm afraid the wood may decay eventually.
*
It wont decay if it's well made.
There's a cupboard made of Jati (teak) at my grandma's place made in 1950, still standing nicely without any defects seen.

But this is hardwood, not sure about the type of wood used for those keyboards however.

Means it has 1.25 unit width
For FILCO/DUCKY type keyboards, these refer to the ALT/CONTROL/WINDOWS/MENU keys

what if you typing without using your wrist rest? do you feel the stress on your wrist?
*
For typing case, your wrist are supposed to be floating, meaning, the base of the palm is not supposed to touch the table.
I have not game much lately, so I don't know how that would affect my wrist since floating palms for that case is rather tiring.

Hmmm, the PCB layout, seems like able to mount a Numpad on right. shocking.gif
It will be nice if it really do as I super like this type of layout(as of my Dell Vostro 3700), space saving without compromise productivity.
Now the only doubt is where to get a casing for that?

user posted image
*
It might fit, but not with the same layout, since it has no holes for the 2 Unit Numpad zero, Numpad Enter and Numpad +, plus you need to rewrite the code for the numpad.

I'd take the easy way out and buy a numpad, and put it on the right side of my mouse if I ever need to key in shit loads of numbers.

@cyclone,
I thought about getting the bird electron cover but RM140 for a piece of acryllic is pretty steep.
On side note, would you like to advertise on your sales thread whatever that we can custom order from the Leopold website, such as the custom keycaps/wrist rests etc?

@bai
I'm asking the acryllic guy at garage sales to give some quotation but still no info on that yet.
Maybe you can help us ask about the costing and stuff, then we make a bulk order. I think most of us here uses 104-key keyboards but I'd like to put them on my 87-key keyboards and Poker as well.

The design of the acryllic is pretty simple

Bend the two sides of the acryllic
And then glue on some extra acryllic on both sides of the edges to prevent the cover from moving around.
Finally add some teflon/rubber feet at the edges of the cover so that it does not scratch the case.

The hard part is to get perfectly 90degrees with little bending radius to make it look like the ones in the picture.

Too many options really kills the distribution of these sets, making it less cost effective.

Previous group buy with 190 sets of 100+ keys was only $40. Pretty darn cheap.

Btw The rubber thing i don't think there have. But u can always use sand paper to smooth the edge so it don't scratch ur kb. I can try ask the price if u interest the measurement u list is universal?
*
I don't think rubber feet is an issue. Maybe we can buy some teflon mouse feet and cut ourselves or something.

As for the measurements, I am not sure about the TKL and the Full sized versions.
But the Small one fits the HHKB and the Poker nicely.

Then again, just need a ballpark figure, so that if it's affordable, maybe we can start a bulk for that.

This the feet I am referring to.
Come to think about it, we can just buy those sticky cloth tape, cut it to size, and it should do fine for a feet. Those tape are cheap.

I made some measurements on my FILCO TKL, and the cover for the realforce TKL version should fit nicely. Can always make a sample out based on the dimensions since if it doesn't fit, I can just eat it up and put it on my realforce
