my poodle is having eye sore (i guess) cause she's been rubbing her right eye, and it produces extra tears than usual, and the eyes is half close...and sometimes close...

i'll be sending first thing in the morning tomorrow to the vets for checkup...but while pending doctor examination result....can anyone shed some lights what the problem might be? as im a bit worried....

thanks

I dont think adriankhoo153 means to breed them...i think he just wants to know it is ok to let them stay as friend together....if that case, i think shud be ok gua...if u keep 2 males, neuter both males are better so they will live peacefully...and never get opposite sex to stay together, unless u spayed or neutered them...accident will happen..u might end up with a very weird mix-breed hmm.gif

Please read this article, regarding your dog fitness...

Article from the Page...
QUOTE
To check whether your dog is overweight, there is a simple test you can do. Simply take your fingers and place them on the dog’s backbone. Then run the fingers along the ribcage in a downward motion. If you can clearly feel the ribs, then the dog is probably within a healthy weight range. If you cannot feel the ribs easily, or if there is a layer of fat between the ribs and the backbone, your dog may be overweight or obese.

you need to feel their ribs... is like human... can't only determine you are obese with weight only coz our bones has different weights...

BTW you need to give them enough of exercise and also water too... you can feed them raw or cooked meat weekly...
balance diet... if the dog cannot feel the ribs and always walk slowly you have a problem there...

You are so cute. People already rephrased his sentence and you still misunderstand his meaning and keep on saying the same thing.

well it is not thin or not judging by their weight... is their body... but by ur babe weight is a lil light but not alarming... mine about ur age also around 3.5kg only...

u need to exercise them regularly... u carry mine, god, she is heavy... around 11~12" tall and she is 5kg++... last time i weight her during a boarding session in vet clinic... she (vet) say mine is fine but stout, very meaty/muscular of course i still can feel her bones... she run around a lot, daily walk (2x) for pee and poo session... feed her balance diet not meat only, vege and some starch also...

mine eating acana, orijen, artemis, innova, oven.baked, california natural, natural balance and some others too...
Although Acana and Orijen is my first choice but i also change to other brands from time to time... most of the Acana and Orijen dry product she took b4...
for fresh food, she took eggs regularly (at least 1 time a week) and of course chicken, fish, pork when we cook... we always boiled the meat in our soup (without salt and others stuffs), took it out b4 we put in the pepper, onion and others stuff might be a harm to her...

my theory, but not sure it works or not on urs... i choose the dry product without grains most of the time coz it will have more protein... starch is equals to fat if they did not exercise regularly... mine will take potatoes, carrots or sometimes fruits occasionally...

please read more article online or ask the vet more on How to Make your Babe more muscular...

BTW my gf said another reason mine grow a lil muscular coz i always play rough with her... she like to fight with my hands and playing pull on the soft toys/cloths...
