I'm in dilemma too. HTC Sense is way better than Samsung TouchWiz. But raw paper spec and comparison, the S2 owns. I'm inclining towards Sensation though lol

I tried using an adapter but it didnt fit it, and was fumbling too much with it, in the end i didnt use an adapter. I just slid in my micro SIM as accurate as possible to the phone's SIM card place holder. Kau tim.

Ive never been so satisfied with any other phone before. I have used all the OS available. This is my 4th Android.
Am glad i didnt even think about Samsung in the first place. That makes the choice easier.

oi2 .. no bashing sgs2 r.. im monitoring.. lmao.. just kiddin.. im still a part of u guys.. love both devices.. cant tell which is better.. but im placing a bet sensation will get a good port of cm7 or even aosp 2.4 perhaps xD

Me too. Don't really have much faith in Samsung. I prefer stronger build where sensation managed to satisfy me.

for the fact that u r in this forum, it means u had chosen android.
so if u just wanna use as communicator device (phone/sms/mms/email/facebook/maps/weather updates) then Sensation is for u.

if u r an advanced geek who loves to flash roms just to compare its benchmark scores, install 3rd party launches that mimic HTC Sense, surely SGS2 is the better choice.

in other words, u can start to use evry sen that u paid for the sensation but as for sgs2, geeks normally need to root it, find other roms to make it somewhat useful.

Tries both phones and I prefer Sensation's look and feel.

no laa... not bashing Sammy. Just saying that my preference has never been Sammy.

hey guys what up, today went to "lolyat" plaza to shop for case mate...got 1 propel shop have stock..and the lol part is they only got 1 tough and 1 barely there in the shop..and needa wait 1 day if u need 2..then i went to midvalley..touched the SGSII and i felt relieved, because i made the right choice...SGSII feels plasticky and kinda cheap..and the interface is too iphone-ish and not so creative and attractive...then i went to the garden and saw this cool HTC booth..and i tried my luck and asked for the case mate despite it isnt displayed in any of the cabinet..and they have like a lot of stock and it just came today lawl..then they quoted me rm139 and i bargain till rm99 as i need 2..

tfl;dr version:
1. lowyat propel got sell case mate..but they have only 1 in stock(tough and barely there).
2. Garden's HTC booth got stock for case mate(tough and barely there)..and remember to bargain as they quoted me RM139.(can go down to rm99).

my opinion toward the case mate Tough:
1. very solid and nice feel when holding it..
2. i felt safe everytime i hold my phone.
3. very beautiful looking(sexy).
4. i think it fixes the deathgrip abit..not confirmed tho..will try again

the bad:
1. made the phone bulky and added some weight.
2. quite hard to install it perfectly, but it doesnt bother me as u needa do it once only.

lol i try my friend SGS 2 but and with just a glance of touch...i prefer my own sensation.

When it comes to UI, fonts etc...SGS 2 is like kinda bigger font where i prefer smaller front like sense have.

I feel the LED for SGS 2 is abit cartoonish compare sensation. Well, just my 2cents =p
