QUOTE(landlily98 @ Jun 24 2011, 05:58 PM) To all Sifu here, I'm new in Android-based phone here... wish to find out that: 1) Yes, normal SIM card1. Does Sensation use a normal size sim card or mirco sim card? 2. if it uses normal sim card, can I utilized my IPad micro sim card + adapter for internet surfing? ( plan to get sensation for internet only, still prefer my normal Nokia phone as my old phone battery can last me 5 days in one charge, more convenient) Thanks in advance! 2) Yes, I am using my Iphone4 Micro-sim in my Sensation with sim card adapter (takes a bit of an effort to insert it into the Sensation sim slot) and works. |

QUOTE(lcs87 @ Jun 24 2011, 08:56 PM) hey guys what up, today went to "lolyat" plaza to shop for case mate...got 1 propel shop have stock..and the lol part is they only got 1 tough and 1 barely there in the shop..and needa wait 1 day if u need 2..then i went to midvalley..touched the SGSII and i felt relieved, because i made the right choice...SGSII feels plasticky and kinda cheap..and the interface is too iphone-ish and not so creative and attractive...then i went to the garden and saw this cool HTC booth..and i tried my luck and asked for the case mate despite it isnt displayed in any of the cabinet..and they have like a lot of stock and it just came today lawl..then they quoted me rm139 and i bargain till rm99 as i need 2.. Thanks for the share. I'll over there tomorrow to get myself one tfl;dr version: 1. lowyat propel got sell case mate..but they have only 1 in stock(tough and barely there). 2. Garden's HTC booth got stock for case mate(tough and barely there)..and remember to bargain as they quoted me RM139.(can go down to rm99). my opinion toward the case mate Tough: 1. very solid and nice feel when holding it.. 2. i felt safe everytime i hold my phone. 3. very beautiful looking(sexy). 4. i think it fixes the deathgrip abit..not confirmed tho..will try again the bad: 1. made the phone bulky and added some weight. 2. quite hard to install it perfectly, but it doesnt bother me as u needa do it once only. QUOTE(showcase @ Jun 24 2011, 09:59 PM) i prefer HTC Sensation over GS2 too ... but somehow the death grip issue is causing me to have a 2nd mind on HTC Sensation. If it wasn't for the reports, I wouldn't have noticed. Now that I know, it doesn't bother me and more importantly, it doesn't affect how I would normally use the phone. I didn't see how this affected Iphone4 sales and usage.how severe is the death grip issues? izit a turn-off for you guys? My 2 cents. |

QUOTE(seikor @ Jun 27 2011, 10:45 AM) Oh ok thanks. I will go check it out. Mine doesn't warm up much to the point where I can feel it. I am a light user but with Wifi always on and 3G. After i had the Casemate Tough on, I don't even feel a thing. My phone gets slightly warm when I put it in my pocket. Does anyone experience this? I close all apps and turn off all connection already but it still heats up. And also, do I have to configure any settings to download apps from the Android Market? All my apps stuck at starting download T_T To download from Market, you dont need to configure anything other than having a gmail account. |

QUOTE(vccy118 @ Jun 30 2011, 09:04 PM) Hi guys, planning to get this phone soon! Welcome to the club (soon.....hehehe). Been using it for a few weeks now and so far no issues identified (other than the so call DEATH GRIP which doesn't really both or affect me). No heat issue, no screen tinting issue, no camera spot issue. Generally a very well built machine. You will like it.Any defects I should check on the spot b4 purchase? Thanks! |

QUOTE(mynewuser @ Jul 3 2011, 09:27 AM) Slightly better I believe. My Sensation can last me from 7am - 6pm on a charge...dropped to about 13% by 6pm. Am a light user, background syncing or push for a few email accounts, tweeter and occasionally check FB and reply email. Minimal browsing or GPS off most of the time. Wifi off most of the time hence on 3G. |
