So happy with my sensation now.Rooted and over clocked to 1.5 ghz and the battery life is sooooooooooo much better after setting profiles in setcpu.Can't wait for S - Off

wanna ask u guys who own the Sensation. I am using Desire now. Thinking of getting the Sensation.

love the hTC but one issue i got is hTC is rather stingy with ROM/internal memory. with all the skin and bloatware, i am left with little memory left to install apss.

I saw on the spec of Sensation that the internal storage is 1GB (expandable to 32GB). i am a little confuse with this. Is this 1GB expandable to 32GB and available to install apps??? or just storage for data (picture or mp3)?

Hi does rooting void the warranty?, if it doesn't can you point me somewhere where I can read up about it and a guide on how to do it and all?

I just got it yesterday and as expected, the battery drains really fast even on GSM and no 3G, but other than that I'm really happy with this phone, solid as heck!...other gripe was finding a screen protector that actually fits, i went to a HTC specialized store and they said even for original screen protector it doesnt stick properly..therefore can i have suggestions to my problem here?

is 'setcpu' a downloadable app?

bro, Sensation comes with 1.1GB of internal memory for application installation, the expandable 32GB is via memory card.

HTC Sensation seems like a good phone. At par with Galaxy S2.

1. Currently my contacts, calendar, notes info are in Microsoft Outlook. How can I sync HTC Sensation with my Outlook ?
2. Is the battery life reasonably good? How much is the aftermarket battery? or how can extend battery by buying external batterypack or someting.

You can go to xda developers forum and read up there on rooting.
Secondly rooting may void the warranty but htc will not know about it and infact are ok with it since they are going to unlock their boot loaders so developers can develop roms and make the phone even better.
Setcpu is an app but can only work once rooted.

Currently there is only a temporary root and not permanent root,so if you reboot the phone it goes back to unrooted state.
It's like a tethered jailbreak on an iPhone

Galaxy S2 internal 16Gb, how come Sensation only 1GB ? so small?

yeap... most of the new dual core have abotu 8GB min. only Sensation have 1GB. kinda stingy. 6mths into my Desire i start getting low memory warning. What i did i flash to custom ROM and use A2SD+.

I don't understand why hTC is so stingy with memory.

SGS2 is more expensive than sensation..ok?
