Yes bro... i tried silver musk and hindu grass... not bad... but not a must have... Considering the price... hmmmm.... maybe next time, if i have extra $$$ to complete the collection. There are still quite a number in my buy list... so i cannot afford to buy now when they fall under the category of "not bad"... you know what i mean, right.... my bank account will burst if i do so smile.gif

haha of course, its because that time when we met you said you want to get the whole nasomatto line so i thought you gonna get a few more from nasomatto too,but yeah dont waste money on things that are just nice or not bad anymore

Hi Kelthuzad,

Mind getting your opinion on Chanel Platinum Egoist ? Went over to Robinson somewhere around November at Gardens and saw them selling it there. If im not mistaken the price was around 300+ right ? Planning to get one soon. The SA was claimed that this perfume could last for more then 8 hours.
*
platinum egoiste is suppose to be a fresh scent, but in a different way than the regular fresh scent.its not the modern ck/armani type scent, but in a more sophisticated kind of scent, suitable for any age i think,as long as you are in a shirt or polo shirt, not t-shirt with jeans kinda guy,its not a laid back scent.yup the price is around 300,it lasted fairly long,6-8 hours usually, sometimes longer if i am in air-conditioned places whole day

Really? U got also? Can we find Fahrenheit Absolute here?
*
one of the best designer oud and incense, only ysl vintage m7 beats this, not the new la collection m7 though,in terms of designer frags.you will like this if you like fahrenheit, but many will like this even if they hate fahrenheit.started off like fahrenheit but darker version, smoky and nice creamy, leathery scent.i got my bottle from a fellow member here, should be available locally

I bought my very first CDG perfume from fragrance x 4 years ago and at that time I was offered free international shipping even for just one bottle. It was a no brainer but took months for it to arrive.
*
let me be the 2nd white mice as i ordered from them last week and see how long it takes to reach here.i want to believe that they will have improvement after 4 years, and with so many competitors, they have to.if its still the same, jump ship

Since we have a number of fragrance aficionados in here, I guess some may have venture into another dimension of scent appreciation - home fragrance. Perhaps same thoughts and ideas can be exchanged in this very thread.

Don't get me wrong. I myself do collect perfumed candles and diffusers. Just a handful.

Mind you, it is quite addictive as well.
*
my favourite scent is rose, vanilla is great as well.i have very bad insomnia, and most people suggested lavender for it,but i tried rose, and it works really well and never thought rose could smell this good.i used to burn scented candles too,but the wax scent is a little turn off.i tried those electric diffusers too,its way too strong and doesnt smell natural.

Hi attacusatlas, Actually i'm not into any home fragrance. I only burn some candles to make my home smell good. Im using 34 by diptyque as below...

[attachmentid=3264010]

Bro Kelthuzad ---> Now you know why i dont use 34 as fragrance... cos it smells like my house... and i'm kinda immune to the scent... lol
*
hahaha no wonder.and i know why you bought travel size only for 34,to remind you of your house when you are away is it??LOL

brief review:
hanae mori edp opens very sweet, too sweet in fact, but after an hour, great, just great.
lalique white, the opening is really nice and calming, the citrus isnt from the lemon or bergamot itself but from the lemon leaves, which is more subtle, but nice and elegant enough.
animale animale, wow the opening is surprisingly similar to pure havane, but thats the only similarities,it stays almost the same scent throughout, very linear.i love the drydown of pure havane, the honey is gorgeous, but hey animale animale came out 1st before pure havane,so no slouch there for animale animale.the bottle is awesome, very wild.
will give them a full wearing next week

LOL. i tot u post the pics only. how bout the longevity and sillage?
which one do u think day wear or night wear?
*
lalique is definitely a day wear, but can be worn at night to friends or clients house, light enough for others to smell it,projection just nice for them to smell it,i was decanting it for a friend, and i can still smell it on my hand whole day.
hanae mori and animale animale are night wear, preferably big open space, the drydown of hanae mori is just manly,i cant say much bout animale animale yet as i havent really try it out yet.hanae mori is the one that i am most excited about since nvr smelled it before, its a blind buy,now thinking to get the edt version as well or not
overall quite satisfied with both bottle for their longevity and projection, but thats just simply testing, not full wearing yet

You guys here seem to really like perfumes, but have u all ever thought of the kind of chemicals perfume contain?
*
thats why dont ever buy fakes.all original counter fragrances have to go thru strict test and requirements from International Fragrance Regulatory Association(IFRA) hence the many new formulations which they banned certain ingredients deemed harmful in the original recipe.do you really think a million dollar business has no one to regulate??

and as bro wazzap mention, instead of concerning bout the chemicals in a bottle of perfume, might as well worried of the toxin in a stick of cigarette that goes directly into the lung
