QUOTE(attacusatlas @ Feb 1 2013, 08:32 PM) YSL La Nuit de L'Homme Parfum at Singapore international airport is selling at SGD101 and EDT at SGD92 only. You can't find the Parfum in Malaysia, only EDT is available. its available at few counters in malaysia, parkson 1u and pavilion have it once,i tested it there, there's 2 online sellers can get it for below rm180 too for tester bottle,i prefer the edt over the parfum version though

QUOTE(christina1 @ Feb 6 2013, 09:02 PM) this is one of the best perfume [Givenchy Xeyrus Rouge http://www.theperfumeshop.com/fcp/product/...us%20rouge/6815] when u sweat a lot ..but sad only selling 50ml now no more selling 100ml this is one of the best from givenchy, classic beast,i organised a split for that before but no respond, you can still get 100ml for under rm150 the last time i checked, there's a lot of 'jalan' out there, you just need to know where to find 'em.but if you really like it,doesnt matter if its 50ml or 100ml,just grab it

i was brought to a shop smack right in the middle of the town by someone that knows i like fragrance, and this is what i saw....
its a heaven for all of us,only 1 problem, they are all fakes.very well done surprisingly, labelled as grade AAA,selling for lesser than rm50 each.with the money you save now for buying those, you will have to pay back for your skin cancer treatment and other health issues later.happy buying

QUOTE(theandy95 @ Feb 10 2013, 10:38 PM) That's quite scary..how to differentiate between real and fake perfumes without looking at the price?Because some might not know what the real price is. Perhaps the smell of it? Wouldn't want to end up buying a fake perfume, and like u said, get skin issues later. But that's not to say real, authentic perfumes wouldn't make someone get skin issues too right? original fragrance will only caused skin issues due to the wearer's own skin sensitivity issue towards certain ingredients used, and when a lot of people complain about their skin issues to the health authorities, those ingredients will be banned and many fragrance will be discontinued or reformulated, with fakes there are no guidelines to whatever they wanna put in the bottle, they can add in tap water or anything without you knowing it.i think i mentioned these problems for fakes previously.just dont buy and use any 'rejected/our version of.../grade a,aa,aaa' perfume.to be honest its really hard to know if its a fake or real because fakes nowadays can be imitated almost exactly the same.i brought a fake bottle with matching code on the box and bottle, almost identical smell,to 3 departmental stores for an experiment, and all said no problem with the bottle, its original.... most fakes will have similar opening smell only so that when you sniff the opening, you will think its original,so one of the way is to wait for the middle notes and dry down and compare it with the original, but really troublesome.the price actually plays a big part in differentiating them too,if it's too cheap to be true, buy at your own risk and be prepared that its fake then if you really wanna get it

QUOTE(theandy95 @ Feb 11 2013, 05:42 PM) So original fragrance is more safe to wear since there is regulation right? And so do all department stores in Jusco etc. sell original perfumes only? Because sometimes it's hard to compare fakes with original, what if it's the first time using a particular perfume, and there is no confirmed original perfume to compare with if you buy from departmental store like jusco or parkson,99.9% are original, but i have heard before that one sales assistant replace an original bottle with a fake one, this happened at a chanel counter. yes its very hard to tell them apart, but the chanel bleu i shown, the writing on the box is a lil different from the real box.sometimes check the sprayer and the tube and you can tell if its fake

QUOTE(theandy95 @ Feb 11 2013, 08:50 PM) Why the hell did the sale assistant do that? why not??assuming i am the SA,i buy a fake one for under rm50, sell the original one which i have just replaced with the fake one, sell it for rm200 let say,i make a profit of rm150,more than my commission for selling a bottle of legit perfume.the purpose of replacing it is so that the stocks that they keep under the counter tally with the sales they made, they cant just "steal" a bottle without replacing the real one with a fake one, then its obvious 1 bottle is missing

QUOTE(jonny4 @ Feb 14 2013, 03:53 PM) those who have followed this frag thread since V1 might remember me. i kinda lost interest in frags d. the last frag i bought was a bottle of Cartier Declaration a year ago. i realized i've totally lost touch with the newer frags. anything released post 2010 i dun think i have tried. so guys what are some good post 2010 frags i should try ? designer, price not more than RM250 im tempted to get a new frag soon. of course i remember you,one of the old birds here, together with stuffi, you will still say something here once in a while nowadays at least,he's totally gone, mrbs is gone too,but i do still keep in touch with him. so what makes you come back after losing interest for a while?i hope i can avoid losing interest in frags. for me its about spotting bottles at a cheaper, bargain price, and bottle worthy to get,not just because its cheap.if money isnt a problem, then i wouldnt hunt it at discounted online site, can get it directly at counters or their official online sites, and wouldnt be so excited as well knowing that i got the same gem as others but at a cheaper price

QUOTE(theandy95 @ Feb 26 2013, 10:19 PM) Yea I would, but just want to ask here first. It's been a long time I have seen frags at department stores though. Where would the Burberry and L'eau d'Issey be? Do these two perfumes have their own brand counters? Usually at the women's floor, not the men's right? gosh these sort of question will really get on my nerves, but i wont start shooting yet
