Care to elaborate more? I have not used virtual box before. Does that mean it's a 'box' inside my win 7 and I would not need to install any drivers?

Yeah.. basically u can run another OS inside your Windows 7(or inside any OS).

You still need drivers but i think it's only a generic driver and it come with VBox itself.. u need to ask someone else that has more experience running Windows with VirtualBox like ThisIsBoletaria maybe... since i've only run Linux with it.


Update your Bios to F.14 and enable Virtualization in Bios Option before you run VBox for better gooding.

what am trying to say is by default this laptop are come with toshiba HD,
when you boot with recovery disc, the system will create problem on recognise hard disc or not?
since recovery cd are just a mirror image of the default factory setting.
i don't know my concern may sound funny lol

Wanna ask for clarification: you mean after using your proposed driver on a hp dv6-6114tx, we can finally escaped the damned/annoying/troublesome auto-switching dead end that we(users or future users of dv6-6114tx) face?

Refer to your previous post? Meaning the one that says uninstall both AMD and intel graphics drivers, then install your proposed (the 100% working one) then upgrade the AMD driver to 11.6? Using the 6001tx drivers on 6114tx?

Sry to let you guys down, I've received a report from my friend that is using the 6114tx, the manual switching did not functioned after the rebooting and OpenGL still are NOT using 6770m....

currently he's testing the modified 11.2 drivers

I have to wait more reports from him...since he bought not long ago, I'll ask him to pressure HP by asking him to warranty his unit for the so-called "defective 6770M", then it might pushes HP to release a driver update for 61xx users...

When ever I watch a flash video player, like youtube, kuguo etc... there is a white/black bar on the right side of my screen, it is the same using different browsers like chrome and firefox EXCEPT Opera. I have no idea how to fix it, sifus please help me...

All look same to me.

no image for opera because it's normal

those pictures are from Firefox and Chrome, both same thing

Just tested with IE, it is also normal...

not sure why only Firefox and chrome have this problem, quite irritating
