Hei guys, I've ordered the HP Pavilion dv6-6114TX NB PC but I've forgotten to put the E-Coupon, and I've used Direct Deposit and I've not payed anything yet...
Should I call to HP and cancel my order or wait for the 14 days-Order cancellation?
based on the below T&C, if the order is a confirmation but has not been payed and delivered, I do have my right to cancel and avoid any payments to HP right?
10) The Order will be treated as cancelled if HP does not receive full payment for the Order by the 14th day after order confirmation.
11) However, should the Order herein be cancelled by Customer within 14 days from date of acknowledgement of such order by HP and prior to delivery of the Products, HP reserves the right to charge Customer a cancellation fee of fifteen percent (15%) of the value of the order
By the way this is the T&C for Direct Deposit
6. HP will process your order and ship your equipment immediately, pending availability, upon clearance of payment.
So if no payment clearance means no Order Processed means after 14-days-Order Cancellation will be implied and no charges will be imposed to the customer right?

Actually I've noticed this also, but from what I've known that the HP Driver for the AMD came with Intel Driver and Switchable graphic option, thats why they share the same version as this is a custom driver...
You can update both manually actually, I did update the Intel HD Graphics from Intel Drivers website and Catalyst 11.6 from AMD, of course starting to install from stock HP Drivers before upgrading...make sure you switch to the main graphic when installing the corresponding drivers (e.g. Installing AMD drivers then select AMD graphic card first, or Intel Drivers then selec Intel HD Graphics first).
I did have many issues for the first time when I installed and everything went screwed up as the Morphological Filtering in AMD drivers keep on enable even I've disabled it, and it affected all of my programs, then I reformatted it again and try again...Wala~ done everything is backed in normal...and the driver works according to the way I wanted...

erm, honestly, I do not use the auto-switching, as I only used the manual switching, as I disabled the auto-switching...
hmm the dynamic switching I only encountered when I use the stock drivers. After updating, I've disabled automatic switching so when I need the AMD graphics that time only I switch to it by manually...

QUOTE(spicediablo @ Jun 30 2011, 09:47 AM) HI Warlove3, Great to hear that. Would you mind telling me what version of drivers you are using? I am trying to disable automatic switching on my 6114 as well. Thanks. Hmm you try to download the dv6-6001tx driver and try, but for me I've used dv4 drivers as i was experimenting and it works...

This installs both of the AMD and Intel in one package, choose the one I gave in the link then if it works then you just upgrade to catalyst 11.6 mobility... Uninstall both from device manager before installing. Added on June 30, 2011, 3:21 pmThis is the one that works 100% http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwar...w_lang=&os=4063the dv4 link i gave, dont use it as i've found it incompatible after i've used for few hours, the dv6-6001tx haven't gave me any problem yet... my 6001tx does have auto-switching and the drivers I use do have both auto and manual switch....
I can both enable and disable the auto-switch I can manual switch between graphic cards by using the catalyst tool My friend do have a 6114tx and I've done some testing, it works as the same as what i've mentioned...
hmm...I take a guess, you guys switched to AMD 6770M and it converts back to Intel HD graphics for the next reboot or opening some application?

Sry to let you guys down, I've received a report from my friend that is using the 6114tx, the manual switching did not functioned after the rebooting and OpenGL still are NOT using 6770m.... currently he's testing the modified 11.2 drivers http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=339823 - read here for more info... I have to wait more reports from him...since he bought not long ago, I'll ask him to pressure HP by asking him to warranty his unit for the so-called "defective 6770M", then it might pushes HP to release a driver update for 61xx users...
