This installs both of the AMD and Intel in one package, choose the one I gave in the link then if it works then you just upgrade to catalyst 11.6 mobility...

Uninstall both from device manager before installing.

the dv4 link i gave, dont use it as i've found it incompatible after i've used for few hours, the dv6-6001tx haven't gave me any problem yet...

i think is possible, in this case i only concern about the original HD driver creating conflict with your SSD.

Problem: why my dv6 use CPU-z can't detect my radeon gpu and it's juz show the intel 3000 hd? 2nd problem.... All my bluray disc can't play. Only can read file inside. Power DVD error? Or all my bluray disc shot zor? All my blu ray some is region a and some is region c. And some is 3D blu ray. But all of this can't play.....

Mine already 9 working days but why is it still in production....

I just noticed that Turbo Boost will be disabled if you took out the laptop battery.

Should i call the hp customer service because the status is still in production even thought i order for 9 working days already?

nope you shouldnt..just be patient, it will change to a more realistic date in a few days

My bad.. actually TurboBoost will be disabled if you set CoolSense to other than Performance Optimize Mode.

Again I hit a barrier. Some of my software for work only works in XP. Now I think I should be able to complete the dual boot process but the drivers are nowhere to be found. I tried HP website and all they offer are 32 and 64 bit win7. So, is there any way I can obtain xp drivers for my 6114? Thanks!!

You mention that your 6001tx hasn't been giving problems after using those drivers. Your 6001 does not have auto-switching, just manual. The others wanted to change theirs to manual.

Did you actually test your method on a 61xx or are you just proposing it?

my 6001tx does have auto-switching and the drivers I use do have both auto and manual switch....

I can both enable and disable the auto-switch
I can manual switch between graphic cards by using the catalyst tool
My friend do have a 6114tx and I've done some testing, it works as the same as what i've mentioned...

hmm...I take a guess, you guys switched to AMD 6770M and it converts back to Intel HD graphics for the next reboot or opening some application?
