Bonuslink is another piece of junk which I have neglected it.

i just went to UOB branch, they say no free gift if apply at branches.. so i'm gonna apply online to get the flask

Application approved, now waiting for the snail mail from UOB. I think banks should abolish sending credit cards by snail mail as it can be easily intercepted by corrupted posmen, which had been reported in the news as well.

Not interested with this card anymore. They have put my application status to Cancelled without even notifying me until I gave them a call.

Unexpected. I was thinking if the 88 cash back still valid will go for it.

too bad for UOB. But I think they did the right thing as they had problems contacting you and something about your address. It's for your own good. Imagine if someone were to clone your card and they can't contact you.

They said they wanted to call me to verify my office phone. I missed that call and they didn't call again after that.

Then, I take my own initiative to call the CS to check my application status. The CS fed back that my application status is set to Cancelled because they need me to fax/send in a copy of utility bill for confirming the mailing address as stated. But this is not my even fault as I didn't receive any call about this requirement. It's totally two separate issues. Don't you think so?

Then you should just fax over your the phone bill and your application would be back to pending right. Anyway, the card doesn't really affect you since you already got card that gives you 5% cash back for petrol
