DVB-T2 standard allows reduction in the peak to average power used in the transmitter station around 25 - 30 % compared to DVB-T.
He was saying his TV DVB-T was able to receive the trial signal before DVB-T2 is selected.
Correct. So the choice of decoder and antenna are important.
Ya. My LG TV (42PN4500) built-in with DVB-T, last time used antenna booster which for analog / conventional also able to receive DVB-T.DVB-T2 standard allows reduction in the peak to average power used in the transmitter station around 25 - 30 % compared to DVB-T.

Tried current DVB-T2 decoder same way like last time, not working. Even connect another new cable RG6, no booster or anything, direct; not working also.
Perhaps you are right, need to get better quality decoder.
