QUOTE(RAMChYLD @ Sep 13 2013, 11:20 PM) No change so far. Still the same as before. Although for some reason Arena Sukan is simulcasting RTM1 at this time... Which reminds me, on the recent Measat 3a updates, there's 11 channels (including 1 in HD) under RTM lineup... Reference: http://www.asiatvro.com/channelinfo/91.4m3a.htm

Let's see how SKKM allocates/regulates frequency spectrum in Malaysia. There are lots of info in the document, but I want to focus on DVB-T spectrum only. http://www.skmm.gov.my/skmmgovmy/media/Gen..._Final_2012.pdfPage 184 VHF TV Broadcasting Channel 6-12 will used for DTT service after Analogue Switch Off (ASO) Note: I found a 2MHz bandwidth 'DTT signal' around Channel 11 or 217-219 MHz to be precise using SDR scanner (GQRX) . But I don't have decoder or software to decode the signal.
The signal is weak, from my work desk; inside office building. but it's there. Page 185 UHF TV Broadcast Band V Channel 35 to 54 are reserved for DTT services. Now,we already got channel 44 (658MHz) and 46 (674MHz). So, we know that more DTT service may/will come in the future. How soon? Just wait and see. Thank you. QUOTE(neb @ Jun 17 2011, 12:37 AM) you can only receive digital TV in KL area (RTM test broadcast), or Johor (singapore TV) you will need a DVB-T tuner and normal UHF antenna Is dvb-t2 signal supported in both KL and Selangor now? has anyone here used a analog TV tuner successfully? Before I get a USB Analog TV Stick, I would like to know if it would work well in Selangor area. Any pointers would be much appreciated.

For those in JB areas, here are some info (as of 18 Nov 13) from a local forum site.....believe the HD channels (HD8, Suria HD & Vasantham HD) starts 1st week of Dec. HD5 is already transmitting:
UHF27 - 522MHz•Channel NewsAsia (SD) - live •"Beautiful" SG (SD)
UHF29 - 538MHz•Test 1 - Taichi @ ECP (SD) •Channel 5 (HD) - live •Suria (HD) - disappeared now
UHF31 - 554MHz•Channel 8 (SD) - live •Test 2 - NDP (SD)
I can't verify as I do not have a DVB-T2 tuner.
