Will this DVB-T USB TV Tuner Receiver Stick works to get tv signal in malaysia?

Q1: Anyone managed to get the HDMI to VGA converter to show digital TV on VGA monitor? Q2: does the USB behind the box support Schedule Recording? like turn external HDD into PVR, doable?
